Aircraft factories, vertibird factories, naval shipyards, nuclear powerplants, nuclear research facilities, aerospace research facilities?
I know most of those things are far-fetched and power gamey at first glance, but I know these facilities would be in ruins and in need of dire repairs, let alone my population having the knowledge to operate those facilities.
But I'm just wondering, so I don't just place virginia full of pre-war steel mills and concrete/Brick factories to rebuild things =P
Maryland having biotech I will likely use as Baltimore having a large biotech facility which would perhaps be used to produce medicine, genetically alter crops, etc, etc.
Something I can find a proper way to produce, even with a population of which 90 percent probably can't even read.
If you expand into West Virginia, you can get a large supply of Coal from there. Also, West Virginia has several Coal Liquefaction Facilities, which turn Coal into Liquid for use in Cars and Trucks.
I'd agree on the Biotech in Maryland, although i'd say you wouldn't find any Aircraft or Vertibird Factories. Powerplants could be in Virginia but i'd say its up to Waz on that one.
