I sent you all a TG a while back, Elerian told me to open the IC.

Which I did when I had the time. And I'm working on a post now.

Not been TG'd nope.

It was a few weeks ago. I mentioned that we should start the IC. Nobody except for Elerian answered. And it took me a week or so since I was busy, but I made it.

And my Emperor has just been crowned.

Let's get this going!

Mention, I altered the original coronation a little, trying to make it better and clearer.

I found the original description in a poor English translation of De cerimoniis aulae Byzantinae. And that was awful. And all the medieval Greek terms..

But well, I hope that the post ended up alright.

Thrace, stop making me feel incompetent with your amaze posts.

In seriousness, I will begin working on a post right away - would you prefer to be approached by the Emperor or his heiress first?

Isn't it repetitive though?

A quarter of it is merely formed by those chants and shouts.

Thanks though :P

Any would work. Whichever you want.

I didn't mention it in the post, but after the coronation ends, the Emperor will step down from the shield, and the ceremony ends, with some dignitaries leaving, and other speaking to the Emperor.

By the way, would your Emperor look at mine as a friend of his father's/sort of "family"?

Yeah, certainly, if we go with that idea.

I couldn't find a good image without, and this one also shows the characteristic yellow red walls.

It's a screenshot from Civ 5 before Brave New World gave it the worst intro and menu music of the entire franchise.

It is?

I have Civ 5, but I never played it a lot.

I found this image on Google some time ago, I used it in posts with Constantinople in the past threads.

Well, I'll probably answer in the weekend.

Aren't we going with the idea that they already know each other though?

The Emperor, yes. The Imperial Princess was only recently announced as heiress (in the past year or so), so unless your Emperor went to Italiae with his father on visits to Antonius, I doubt they'd know each other.

They could have known each other, but in the past, in their childhood.

Because at the age of 12, Julius joined the military to learn, and he was mostly stationed in the Orient.

Still, they may have only met briefly - no time for formal introductions and such.

Going to be fully pulling out of this. I really was interested at a point, but after it took so long to get an IC...kinda lost my motivation to 1870 Commie. My apologies...

Due to dedications to other rps and life, I'm afraid I must withdraw from this RP for now.

Well, if this is dying like this, and people are leaving..

We might just have to move to a new thread, and try to start the IC earlier.

Because over 100 pages of OOC and no IC for so long clearly didn't help.
