My first Idea is a water mage who can also wield Ice (Which is technically water) by compacting the water tight enough to freeze it from the pressure (scientifically possible).

...Unfortunately that's not very specific. We have a couple of Mages who use Ice, so that's not much of a distinguishing factor. Do you have more ideas?

can be either/or. Sometimes more than one element. I have only really seen 2 elements. One being the more pronounced element. You can get creative with what it becomes. Like spirit magic like venta.

Water can be anything covered under “the element water”. Ice, steam, mist, snow, rain, frost, etc. Heck, even sweat! Get creative!

Personality: Gwyn and Lynn perfectly exhibit the trope of Creepy Twins, although they do tend to be less disturbing and more frankly odd. The pair both exhibit similar, albeit slightly differing strains of the same fairly lighthearted and eccentric behaviour. When fused together, the pair seem much more introverted at first glance, although this is, in truth, simply because they can nonverbally communicate when sharing the same body.

It would be unwise to assume the two are entirely harmless and simply endearing, as they both have a liking for sometimes mean-spirited mischief, though Lynn most prefers it out of the two. Gwyn, in a biggest difference from his otherwise ironically identical fraternal twin, has an interest in rhyming, either in the form of poetry, song, etc.
Likes: Confusing others, steam locomotives, and the arts make for an interesting trio of interests, and the two latter often end up serving their favourite pastime quite well.
Dislikes: Neither of the twins have particular dislikes, save for Lynn’s sole pet peeve regarding lip smacking.
Animal: Ants. A whole farm of them.
Bio: Born in the welsh seaside town of Tywyn, both Gwyn and Lynn seemed to take quite well to their lives as inhabitants of one of the quieter vacation destinations in Britain, other than there being a tiny, absolutely insignificant detail that made them both quite different than anyone else in the town. Their parents were a pair of mages eccentric in their own right, ones very fond of experimenting with things that could also serve other related purposes. From sporks to sofa-couches, and all manner of halfways between two extremes, the Talyllyn parents had all manner of fused objects.

This novelty extended into Mana experiments, one way or another resulting in a pair of twins fraternal that seemed to combine into one bigger baby. And so it began. The twins that were also and only child became something of a local novelty with nearby mages, and quite convenient for the Talyllyn parents, only having to pay for one child on most occasions, as the two fused seemingly by touch, and could be separated simply by tugging gently on both sides of the fused baby. As they grew older, the Talyllyn twins, also known by their more convenient collective name as Gwyndolynn, became more adept at fusing and unfusing with one another on a more conscious basis.

As an unfortunate result of their ability, however, they remained homeschooled until the time came to send them off to a magic school. As with many homeschooled lives, especially ones where the child(ren) are being kept from the rest of the world for one reason or another, not much of note happened in general, aside from the occasional interactions with other young mages, a few of which showed the twins were, together, capable of fusing with at least one other mage, and amplifying their powers. But, these little experiments came to a close as it came time to head off to a true magic school. Mana Academy was chosen for being one that both taught using English, and was far enough away from home that Gwyndolynn likely wouldn’t know anyone.

As a note for your first post, it would be easier to just have the characters have been at the school for a while, rather than having them just arrive at the island today. Since everyone is preparing for the Quarterly Exam, which we’re going to probably move toward soon, probably start with them training or studying so it’ll be easier to have interactions.

Raw energy is pretty much what it sounds like: explosive fire, if a bit more controlled. Life energy is a versatile tool that ranges from minor but still noticeable healing abilities, to more efficient metabolisation of food, though could possibly be more potent if sufficiently focused.
Personality: Kazimiera Wojciecha’s persona is dominated by that of extreme and conservative devotion to the catholic faith, though she’s tended to ignore the current pope’s sayings in favour of older papal decrees. As a result, at first glance she seems fairly amiable, comparable to the Simpsons character Ned Flanders. This amiability poorly conceals an interior of hate, which anyone who spends more than the minimum amount of time can clearly see. These days, her obsessions have expanded to include her new husband, Alphonse Baskerville, and as far as she’s concern, his authority is only topped by that of God himself.
Likes: Her hubby, the HOLY BIBEL IN ALL OF ITS HOLY GLOREH, the traditional family, and whatever Alphonse says to like
Dislikes: Heathens, whatever Alphonse says to dislike, basically everything east or from east of Bulgaria that isn’t Georgia or Israel

Bio: Born and raised in the small town of Szczytno by a pair of fairly conservative magical parents, Jadwiga was destined at birth to be anything but liberal. As a wide-eyed small child, she wasn’t nearly as hate-filled as she now is, but certainly held strong opinions planted by her parents. These beliefs were only normal conservative, however, recognisable as a mainstream version of ideology.

But, from a combination of being sheltered and reading of the old power of the Catholic Church through her childhood, Jadwiga slowly drifted more and more conservative in beliefs, until in middle school she'd reached a point where even the conservatives thought her beliefs to be rather extreme. At this point, however, next to any possibility of her becoming less extreme were gone. While others might joke about burning witches on Halloween, she never joked; when she spoke of burning witches she was serious.

As she entered high school, her devotion to her archaic form faith still shone brightly, as did something else. Her powers began to clearly express themselves, and, while others saw this as a rather ironic party trick at first, Jadwiga saw this as a nothing less than being entitled Defender of the Faith by God himself, and progressively grew more adept at utilising her energy powers, reaching a point where she could at the very least make a firecracker-like explosion.

While her ability to self teach reached its limit, her desire to grow more adept at utilising these perceived divine gifts did not wane in the slightest. When she was of age, it was off to the Russian academy for mages with her, until, at the close of her junior year, she met her sweetheart Alphonse Baskerville, and the two hit it off immediately. The married over the summer when they both were of age and had time for the ceremony, and Jadwiga followed him to wherever he was headed, which happened to be Mana Academy.
