Hailey, bringer of angry but sensible and well thought out points and arguments.
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven—
All’s right with the world!

hi!

I mean...she is certainly the sensible one...One problem. Rabbit is not in the cafeteria. He walked away already.

Also...Katelyn is not 'a little' paranoid.

Well, he hadn't before Hailey started talking, so unless he walked out in the middle of it.

No, he walked out after Katelyn mocked his involvement with Soleil's rescue.

Oh, there it is. Just have to change some pronouns in my post then.

Also, Kate is definately slightly more than a bit paranoid, but Hailey doesn't want to really believe that, and Annice hasn't really seen it yet.

Yeah, she's on the verge of being physically ill, from hallucinations and from near-psychosis. Like, having a single nightmare should not cause a person to become this frozen in fear of EVERYONE around you.

It's rather like the result of clinical lycanthropy, really.

Katelyn's concussion-addled brain confused a nightmare that played on fears she already had with something real. Thus, in her next encounter with Rabbit, she lashed out. Seeing his blood convinced her further that she was right, and thus she grew to fear and mistrust him even more. Other people's reaction to this led to her thinking that he'd done something to make them blind to what was 'obvious' to her, and thus her behavior became crazier. People reacted in an even worse way, thus 'confirming' her belief, and making her act out even more to try and 'save' them, which made them treat her worse, which made her try harder, et cetera et cetera et cetera.

Much like a person who believes they are a werewolf will act like a werewolf, thus leading others to treat them like they might a werewolf, reinforcing the delusion and making their belief even more firmly entrenched, making others treat them worse, making their belief even more entrenched, et cetera et cetera et cetera.

It's a vicious circle.

And while Hailey doesn't completely understand that, she's definately picking up on the fact that just saying "Rabbit is fine guy. Stop being silly." isn't helpful in the least. Annice is just kind of paranoid, and doesn't trust "nonhumans" or really anyone completely.

Oh I was a sick for a moment and when I come back, I got an oral presentation for speech, a packet to read for discussion in Texas government, a piano "recital" (reason I say that is because I have to only preform the first piece of it), and that's all by tomorrow.
And now what in god's name is going on in the cafeteria?

You wouldn't be happy if you had a 40 item quiz yesterday and the entire class' scores are voided to zero. And you also get a calculus quiz that's like a time bomb and got just two of the items correct because your classmates are assholes. Oh and isn't it fun for your transport to get its wheel blown up in the middle of traffic and during the rush hours? *cries* And exams are tomorrow. Help my poor soul

Also, before I go about overworking myself tonight, I want to say this.

I want more Hailey time! She's the sensible type of gal that can be both the laid back and fun-living person to having the serious and no crap-taking attitude when it comes to things or in this case, people that she cares about. I wanna spend some time with her afterwards with either Shaun or Dom and get to know her better. I like her.

That is all. Good day.

If she's not actively in an interaction, feel more than free to send people to hang out with her! I really don't want her to just end up as Kate's girlfriend, or for Kate to just end up as Hailey's girlfriend.
