Standoffs are great for defense contractors. And so should manufacturing plants. They would make a FORTUNE off of producing this stuff for the kind of showdown.

Well, you still have to equip your Janissaries. Also, you have to worry about maintenance, pay, research and development, etc. Even if I completely exclude the non-combatants, and ignore the Janissaries pay (Why the hell aren't you paying them?) You get a total of $79,045,000,000 dollars spent on personnel alone.

Well, you still have to equip your Janissaries. Also, you have to worry about maintenance, pay, research and development, etc. Even if I completely exclude the non-combatants, and ignore the Janissaries pay (Why the hell aren't you paying them?) You get a total of $79,045,000,000 dollars spent on personnel alone.

You do realise that my military budget in total is £221 billion? I remain quite flexible still, and the Janissaries do not receive pay because they are servants of the monarch. Maintenance costs are covered elsewhere, in a further reform I will detail it. Building a country from the ground up is a very hard practice, especially with all the new administration I have to do. Remember, I do not spend all of this money annually, however the surplus goes towards Prahomija's own personal research projects, and other projects she selects as eligible for extra funding.
