House Solomon more or less provides engineers and troops trained for guerrilla and mountain warfare. So that is about all they can give.

Well I did use CKII traits for my character so yup. It is always a pain when your king dies and his heir doesn't have the best diplomacy stats (especially when you get big).

RP Example: A bard stood in the corner of the small tavern, playing a light tune on his Lute. As he played, a man approached him and sat to hear the music. As this was common, he thought nothing of it until he looked down at the man. He had what was the start of a beard and hair that looked as if it had been cut with a knife. The man wreaked of the last nights drinks, and his clothes looked as if they had been used for weeks. The only thing stopping him from fitting in with the common rabble was the ring on his finger, showing some ties to nobility somewhere. The Bard played slightly softer, and spoke to the man.

"Tell me Noble, are you looking to see how the common folk live? Or are times tough for the higher?"

The nobleman groaned. in actuality, he wasn't even a Man. A boy really, just becoming 16 years of age a few moons ago. Though no matter how low he looked, the ring was unmistakable. He had heard the taunts and the cackles. He was tired of people shoving him down for being an outcast noble. At that moment, he slipped the ring off his finger, and held it out to the Bard.

"I am no noble. This ring was Fenced to me some time ago, and I am looking to trade it." His hand moved slightly as he spoke. The bard nodded slightly as the Boy continued. "Just tryin to make due Sir."

The Bard looked at him for a time. As the song finished, he took the ring from him. Weighing it slightly, he tucked it in his pocket, and slung the Lute over his shoulder. As he did so, another Bard walked through the door ready to take his place as his set had ended.

"Listen Boy. Follow me."

The Bard left quickly, allowing his replacement to take his place and begin his own set. He led the boy outside the tavern, and turned to him quickly when they were an appropriate distance away, and spoke to him.

"My dear boy, you say you are no Noble, yet for now you are a terrible liar."

The boy stared dumbstruck for a second, and fumbled for a recovery.

"How di- No! I am no noble! Born and Raised in these streets!"

This time the Bard openly laughed in amusement.

"Boy, you walk like the Nobility. You are trying to hard on your accent, and your hands fidgeted when you were speaking to me. Now, I figured you out because I am trained to spot liars and thieves, to which you are neither, but to the untrained that little stunt may have passed. You show potential."

The boy gave him a quizzical look, and was just going to see where exactly this took him.

"Umm... Thank you? And.. potential?"

"Yes. Potential. Please, if you wish to learn more, come with me."

"And if I refuse?"

The Bard smiled, and he motioned around him to the slum. "Have you anywhere else to go?"

The boy weighed his options, and nodded slowly. "Alright. Lets go."

The Bard tossed him back his ring, and motioned him forward. "You can keep this. I may be a Bard but I'm no thief."

"Thank you Sir. And... as I think we will be with traveling together a lot, who exactly are you?"

The bard looked at the boy, and spoke softly. "I am Dalat."

I kind of made King James a much kinder person in my mind so I wouldn't mind if Brandon died. This will be explained later but this is what happened:

Janos believes that his son is plotting to murder him. He had been seeing hallucinations of a former Emperor. That emperor had been killed by, surprise, his son and so Janos fears Brandon. He tells this to Edmund who pleads for Brandon's life. So Edmund seeing that the Emperor is beyond hope plots to murder him. With a few other lords, the Royal Guard, and some servants (including the one who stabbed the emperor), he plotted. The Emperor finally decides to kill Brandon and that's when the servant/assassin acted. Edmund plotted this to save Brandon but more importantly put a sane emperor on the throne.

You all plan on rebelling but keep in mind that you all have other fronts to fight as well. If anyone to the North rebels, you face the Empire and whatever comes from the sea. To the East you have Tirius. The South has G'haz and Kasqyn has the mountain tribes.
