I would half-disagree with you on this. He would know about the rise of Brandon to the throne as a letter to bend the knee would be sent out to all lords. The only thing I think he wouldn't know is the Edmund killed the emperor which is only mentioned in his announcement to the lords. That the empire would try to keep under raps but the rumors would soon get out.

I need to think of a name for Keros's tribe, I want it to be the largest one in the south and have swore fealty to Janos in return for relative autonomy and riches if they fought the other tribes. However now with both no riches coming in, and less autonomy then initially believed the Tribe is ready for rebellion.

What do you all think?

I need to think of a name for Keros's tribe, I want it to be the largest one in the south and have swore fealty to Janos in return for relative autonomy and riches if they fought the other tribes. However now with both no riches coming in, and less autonomy then initially believed the Tribe is ready for rebellion.

I looked back at the post, and I agree about knowing a little too much about the events that went on at the feast. I'll edit my post to not include the details of the assassination, and everything else should be in order.

Though I wonder how much each of the rebellions are banking on the Empire's forces being divided rather than being concentrated against one of them?

It won't matter if the South also rebels, the Empire is counting on that manpower to drive it's military, Brandon will have to either concede to someone possibly even simply cutting his losses and abandoning a region to hold onto others.

Pretty much, though I think we might also be underestimating the Empire. It did have to conquer all the regions in the first place so it must have a strong power-base to begin with. If all three regions revolt, then I could see them conceding to one in order to consolidate their forces against the other two. Question would be which one though, and whether or not those that don't receive an offer of peace can figure out a way to defeat the larger Empire.

That is largely what was on my mind. I feel being the Prince was already personally informed they would need the manpower of the south to more adequately control the others I feel they have fallen into dire straights. More than likely already spread thin in administrating and enforcing Imperial authority the Empire probably would need time to bring forces back into a centralized force to combat an enemy.

I feel most leaders throughout the nation would identify that easily and probably leverage that in their favor, it could possibly be easy to capture or kill these more distant Imperial forces and use that as leverage as well.

So I was thinking since the southern tribes are in a great plains like area the existence of forests in that area even very small ones would be rare. I think my tribe will be called the Silent Wood Tribe because a small forest area acts as their original home and their only really built up city under their control as they would have mostly smaller places being largely nomadic and agrarian. I think I will also make this a religious place for the southern tribes, sort of like and oasis, plenty of drinking water and items to build shelter with. Maybe set into a small rock outcropping.

I mean Caldon's pretty populous(its in the center-north btw), The Empire will get considerable manpower from The Golden Kingdom. But more importantly Caldon's wealth. It's probably the richest province, if not tied with a couple others.

Yep. He's a strategic commander, but too little numbers is also fatal. We will just have to figure this out. I'll also need a geographic map/political map later, so I can plan out what to do, since it seems I'll be the loyalist military leader.

I will also need a map whether I remain loyal or rebel. It will take time to move troops from the south.

I guess I have one thing going for me. The Emperor's Armies are loyal to John and John's name is widely known among the Empire as John has been the Marshal for a decade and a half now and has probably led every army to ever pledge loyalty to the Empire. That doesn't mean the armies of Tirius and Kasqyn will give me any lenicency.
