Backstory:

Born of an unknown name, Tabbis is half of a whole Saiyan seperated by unknown and unforeseen circumstances. While his other half, named Kale, was sent to Yardrat before Planet Vegeta's destruction, Tabbis never arrived at his destination, a lush planet by the name of Namek. Traveling away from Vegeta, mere moments after its destruction, the Saiyan pod was captured by a lone PTO vessel. The ship, which would become his home for the next twenty years of his life, belonged to Lord Cooler himself, who had been watching the destruction of Planet Vegeta by his brother.

Initially intending to murder the newborn, Cooler was swayed to spare the Saiyan, stopped by a mixture of interest in the Saiyans potential, and a desire to spite Frieza. Tossing the child onto a resort world, Tabbis was left alone until he could be of actual use to the Tyrant, living in general comfort for his first five years. Once mature enough to begin training, Tabbis was tossed into a war camp on a far-away world, a training camp for children born into the PTO, ran by criminals and failures deemed useless even as cannon fodder. For six years, Tabbis and hundreds of thousands of other adolescents toiled in the name of training, unknowingly preparing themselves for the horrors they would face on purges.

By age eleven, Tabbis was taken under the direct tutelage of Lord Cooler. Every day of training was more brutal and back-breaking then the last, any error being met with swift punishment. With zenkais compounded by training, Tabbis quickly rose through the ranks of the PTO, purging hundreds of planets in the name of Lord Cooler before he reached his twenties. But as time passed, even Cooler couldn't deny the power the young Saiyan wielded. Hearing of a outlaw running rampant through the Southern Galaxy, Cooler sent Tabbis off to 'deal' with the Namekian known as Slug.

Powers and Abilities:

• Saiyan Biology: While not entirely dissimilar to humans, Saiyans have evolved as a warrior race, acquiring several traits vital to their prowess as deadly warriors, such as high pain tolerance, and the ability to handle the pressures of higher gravity.
  
  • Zenkai: Whenever a Saiyan is injured or brought to the brink of death during battle, upon their healing, Saiyans receive a large boost in strength and energy.
  • Ki: The ability to manipulate ones spiritual and physical energy for abilities like flight and beams.

Weaknesses:

• Saiyan Tail: When the Saiyan tail is grabbed, the Saiyan is left temporarily immobile and incapable of attacking.
• Psionics: A Saiyans mind is inherently weak to mental attacks.
• Magic: Saiyans cannot counter magic and can be struck by it.

For the record, I'm sure there's no issue if you three simply change some superficial details from the Saiyans to make your own DBZ-style race, but I think this is also a good opportunity in case there's something you want to change or innovate.

Like I said, you can use this opportunity to make a Saiyan-like race with changes that make it better.

A non-linear transformation path with various options, for one.

  Technology Level: Futuristic, owing to it's Parahuman origins, the Knights bring together a large cadre of technology and forward-thinking when it comes to their own armor, weapons, and other such systems. Their most identifiable trait is their Exo-Mantle and it's variations, being a powerful and adaptive suit of armor, giving their operators an incredible boost in all fields, allowing a physically fit Parahuman to assume supernatural condition-level effects. It was originally designed by War Eagle, who steadily improved upon it's frame upon each successful rank, leaving off with his most powerful Exo-Mantle and designed for a single user, the Sentinel.

Backstory:

Rex Beast was an orphaned child, and grew up in an orphanage. For all he knew, his parents died in an accident and he had no relatives.

His life was normal, to be frank. He had the dream to be the best bike racer ever in the world, thus he started first at the city where he lived, Ontario. He grew up to be an average person, but with a knack to be involved on occasional fights, and then there's some with bike events. But he knew that bike racer wouldn't be his permanent job and thus he went to the college and graduated with a degree in Linguistics. At the same time he was an amateur bike racer, performed in local races in Canada or performed in occasional tour of tricks.

One day, he was involved in a large-scale accident where he and 10 other racers went seriously injured. In the midst of their coma, US military had a project for super-soldiers experiments. They got themselves 10 free experimental subjects and they were subjected, included Rex. The project was a clear success, though soon the numbers dwindled from 10 to 7, and then to 3 remaining subjects. By this point they had been designated with different designations. Rex was RX-01, and was the first. He and the others already woken up from the coma, and though the others began to adapted fairly well, Rex wasn't, and he was increasingly agitated. He was finally able to escaped after he was able to turned into RX-01 in the next stage of the project, where he broke out from the cell, and into the outside world, stealing his designated bike in the process.

Now, he went on as unknown man in a new world...the internet had been buzzed with the information and rumors about the strange warrior who stumbled upon Elysium and sometimes defeated their plans and even an encounter with Atlas the Sufferer that ended with a draw, though the fight began to revealed that he losing his power source and thus needed a replacement.

Powers and Abilities:

- Expert Bike Racer
- Bachelor's Degree on Linguistics
- Enhanced Toughness
- Enhanced Strength
- Skilled in hand-to-hand
- Powered Form : He is able to transforms into RX-01 with an access to even stronger abilities and powers.

Weaknesses:

- The transformation only occurred for 30 minutes as the longest time.
- Not a fan of firearms.
- His body conditioning is failing, and thus he needs to find a new energy source.

Standard Equipment: His transformation belt, and RX-01 Black Bike

Intelligence: College graduate, with a degree on Linguistics.

Sounds interesting. Anyway you think Psionis could fit in? I was thinking he could have had a vision a few weeks back that something would happen. And he would have taken preparations to be ready. Perhaps his Precognition showed him Luke and he has been watching him from a distance for a couple weeks.
