Funniest RP'er: (explain why) I have three.
1st - The Land of Golden Blobfish. His character, the PUN-isher, is a lame superhero whose wit and humor causes anvils to fall out of the sky. This scene is from when another character was using a mind attack against him, and he remembered this event from his past.
2nd - The Irish County of the Beare-Mor. Think of a brilliant inventor, robotics engineer and all-around techno wizard whose crowning achievement is the invention of his trademarked "Kitten Cannon". Shoots soft, fuzzy kittens, and also has some flashing lights and technological sound effects. See it at work here and here
3rd - The Last Abode of Pando - New to RPs this year, Pando has shown a definite flair for the creative, unconventional side of humor. His character(s) are two Siamese twins, both with super powers and an alien spork at the same time. The one twin can animate origami (but is kind of limited to paper airplanes and a few other things); and the other twin can do any super power known to man, as long as he's not consciously aware of it. Once he becomes consciously aware of it, he loses that ability..
Another character of his is the dreaded villain Florida Man, the minor crime lord of the RP. Basically, the humor here is that with every post, Pando checks out online news articles where a "Florida Man" was arrested, in trouble, hit by a car, etc., and according to Pando, this guy is all of those guys in the news put together. And, if this particular Florida Man retires or dies, the title and prestige gets passed on to a new person (like the Dread Pirate Roberts of Princess Bride fame). See Pando's character here

*A megathread RP is a single RP with sequential IC threads, each thread a continuation of the previous thread's story with no break in play or large gaps between threads. An example of this was the old Elfen High role play which ran from 2011-2015. A reboot of an old game which was a reboot of an original game is not a megathread, nor are games that make a new IC thread every time the setting or time period changes. Megathreads typically encroach upon the 500 page deadline at least once or twice.
