I believe I claimed the Southern Tip of Kamchatka but its fine, Japan can just have a small military base or settlement there.

Yeah I mean the whole nation only has 200,000 people, a base would hardly be noticed.

I know that I should be working on an IC, but I can't help myself. I've been looking for more info on this for the past hour. The English sources of anime news are only now waking up.

I believe I claimed the Southern Tip of Kamchatka but its fine, Japan can just have a small military base or settlement there.

Interesting fact, a Japanese polymath named Honda Toshiaki in the 18th Century proposed moving the Japanese capital to Kamchatka:

"She should move her capital to the county of Kamchatka. (It is located at 51° N. Lat., the same as London, so the climates must be similar) She should build a great stronghold on Saghalien... Once cities spring up in Saghalien and Kamchatka... the growing prosperity of these regions will raise the prestige of the Japanese government to new heights."

Geography, how does it work?

Yep. Firstly, a three part recap movie, with the first part airing in January, and then a sequel happening a few years after the end of season two called Code Geass: Lelouch of the Revival

My only problem with the series is the cringy alternate history. 90% of it is simply hand waved, and I can never see any particular nation grow so large. There's also the whole thing with the screwed up date. Plot and all is totally fine though.

Well, the alternate history behind it isn't that good, but I focused much more on the amazing story. And it's not all that fake, considering the technological advantage Britannia has, and her policies of social Darwinism, it would make sense for her to become that large.

And the date isn't screwed, it's merely following a different timeline, which would make a lot of sense in a world where Christianity is nearly non-existent

The goal of the expedition was to find and map the eastern reaches of Siberia, and to hopefully continue onto the western shores of North America to map them, as well. Emperor Peter I had a vision for the 18th-century Russian Navy to map the entire Northern Sea Route. This far-reaching endeavour was sponsored by the Admiralty College in St. Petersburg.

With over 3,000 people directly and indirectly involved, the Second Kamchatka expedition was one of the largest expedition projects in history. The total cost of the undertaking, completely financed by the Russian state, reached the estimated sum of 1.5 million rubles, an enormous amount for the period. This corresponded to one sixth of the income of the Russian state for year 1724.

That's a lot of moneys. They must have known Alyaski would be worth it. They was right.
