Military Description: The military is the pride and joy of the Shahdom, and is very strong. The military is designed to be professionalized, and is led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, who controls much of Persia. The Navy is the best in the Middle East and Persia has much to flaunt in this department.
Economic Description: Persia is a major trading partner with the European West, and deals with both sides, except for the Rus and their related races, as well as the Byzantines. The economy is strong and based on agriculture, valuable metals, and most importantly, natural resources.
Ideology:
Allegiance: Neutral
Goals: To defeat Byzantium, and take back Iraq and Arabia.
Point of Divergence: In the 1750s, the Afsharid dynasty succeeds in halting civil war in Persia, and crushes the Georgian rebellion.
History: After defeating the Georgians, the Afsharids decided to expand their territories. By allying with the Emirate of Bukhara, they recieved the key to Central Asia. Most of the Iranic and Turkic tribemens joined their native partners. The Kazakhs were a different story, but the Mongols in that area were subjugated and forced to submit. In the early 1800s, without the threat of a major Russian power, the Persians made advances into the Don Steppe area, taking much of it south of Volgograd and east of Crimea. The nation became less and less religious due to seculars, and is now hailed as a beacon of education and enlightenment, one of the finest nations in the world. In 1906, after a constitutional crisis forced Adil Shah V to step down, his son Nader Shah III took hisnplace in exchange for a mixed constitutional and absolute monarchy.

As for the territory, what you claim in Caucasus and in Arabia does conflict with the territory claimed by the Byzantines, but if the reservation will expire, you can have them too.
