This coalition of Italian troops, continued it's glorious march to Naples where a battered Francis II surrendered his nation, and his army to the Sardinians. Italy was now back on the path to unification.

In 1882, the Toscan Unification Process began. The Treaty of Toscan Annexation was signed in Napoli that year by the Duke of Tuscany and Umberto I, effectively making Tuscany another region of the Kingdom.

30 Years later, Italy remains un-unified, but that is soon to change.
