Name: Seamus
Nickname: "Sleepy"
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: This Irishman just got done writing a psychological treatise, and just picked up your girlfriend
Current status: I would assume he would be the bastard of an Irish whore and some bloke, picked up off the streets by the Orphanage. After the Priest died, he was picked up by Dr. William Gordon, a Psychotherapist at the Bethlehem Psychiatric Hospital at St. George's Fields in London. In a twist of irony, the incident occurred roughly a few days before Dr. Gordon would come to officially pick up the young Irishman. Now, as Dr. Gordon wastes away from pneumonia, Seamus puts off going to the University of London in order to go back to the town of his childhood.
Abilities: He has the ability of "Empathetic Hypnosis", which means (with a few key nonsense phrases), he can tap into the mind of the person. This can usually range from forgetting something, getting a "hankering"/desire to do something (like if you've remembered that you forgot something, or that you have to do something, but can't quite explain it), to blotting out a person's presence (IE, a person can be standing in front of someone, but their mind will not register it), causing them to fall asleep, or divulge their dreams.
Skills: "Well, aside me havin' a bit o' the Irish luck an' charm, Oi can hold me own in most fights with any bloke. Thanks to Dr. Gordon, bless his soul, Oi got learned in all sorts of things; readin' writin', 'rithmatic...Oi was thinkin' of goin' to a university, put me skills to work in psychology as he did...but somethin' drew me back here...somethin's drawing me back..."
What were they doing during the fight where the priest died?: (RP style, In character, At least 2 paragraphs, this will be used in place of an RP example)
Did you read the rules?: I am weary of the axe, OP.
IMPORTANT: Delete parenthesis (no)
DO NOT DELETE THE FOLLOWING, #404notfound

Quick questions: were any of the Orphans adopted? Can people be acquainted with one another?

My character was adopted, so I'd guess it's probably fine.

Thanks, also, who is this priest? And can characters know one another?

The priest, as far as I'm aware, was a mysterious individual and was quite strict. He was murdered by the OP's character, however, so I suppose it won't be a big deal in the beginning. As far as the second part goes, it's probably a given, since at least some of the orphans were old enough at the time to remember the event; therefore, they almost definitely remember at least some other people, and probably kept in touch with a few. Some may have even been adopted together.

Yeah, who controls the priest? I thought he was coming back to life as a lich or something.

Also, is this like Miss Peregrine's Home for Imaginary Children (btw, I have never actually read the book )

But... but there's a much bigger difference... because the children aren't imaginary... they're just really freaking weird.

You know what... Screw it. I'm just naming my character Max. Like I always do. XD

Now I need to come up with an excuse why he sucks at socializing, since the OP's character even has my usual "Lost all family and lived in the wild" excuse. XD

Name: Roderich

Nickname: Roddy

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Image

Current status: You see, I work at my piano lounge, which is located at a local bar. I am searching for my friends so that we could have a pleasant reunion at Mason.

Abilities: I can compose any sort of music and transform the sound into a physical force. Sadly, because of that, using this power while attempting to be stealthy would be rather futile. However, the benefits outweigh the negative consequences.

Skills: I can sing, perform music, and jog. People say that I am intelligent and observant, and they are evidently very accurate about that. However, they believe that my spectacles account for my amazing intelligence. Obviously, that information is untrue.

What were they doing during the fight where the priest died:

I am Roderich, the elder brother of Rose, the more intelligent sibling, and also the more responsible among the two of us. Like the rest of you, I once dwelled in the orphanage of Mason. Now, let us please continue with my story. I do enjoy your company, very much so.

Back then, I was around twelve years old, but due to the many events happening in our lives, I was unable to recall my exact age. The calendar, being worn out and rather difficult to read, is rather unreliable to tell the exact time, I might say. I dearly hope that they have replaced that shoddy old object. I was resting on a wooden chair next to my sister Rose's bed. I had just completed reading a rather long story to her, and I was slowly dozing off into sweet unconsciousness. Despite feeling a heavy need for sleep, I was unable to partake in my slumber, as I felt rather worried when Rose was tossing and turning about in her bed. It seemed that she was having a strange nightmare, or that she was unable to fall asleep. Being the tired person that I am, I was too drowsy to even move her about.

As I was about to fall asleep, there was a loud shriek echoing across the air, and I could hear the sounds of many panicked voices. Loud footsteps were heading towards our room, and I felt intense dread for what was about to come. It sounded, literally, like a bloody murder. The fact that I had just finished reading a horrifying storybook was not helping me feel any more comfortable than I am now. The door creaked open, and a nun (Miss Rose seemed to like her in particular) rushed in with a panicked look on her face. She quickly beckoned my sister to escape outside the window, and rather than following her, I decided not to be a cowardly fool. I would check to see if all the other orphans like me were safe.

Sneaking outside the door (to the nun's unhappy and scared protest), I felt unstoppable, and perhaps the smallest bit heroic. To my relief, every other orphan and nun seemed to be safe. But there was something wrong. The priest. He was a bloody, gory mess.

I never knew who the strange shadowy figure was.

And I, Roderich, will find out.

Did you read the rules: I fear the axe, which will be used in an attempt to destroy my piano.

And, still, the emphasis on the different part of the word in Leviosa is very important. Remember?

Sorry, I don't know what 'leviosa' is.

It is a Harry Potter reference.

While Hermione was correcting Ron's pronunciation of a magical spell (Wingardium Leviosa), she emphasized the "o" part of "leviosa."

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I see. I never really had any interest in that series, so references to it generally go over my head.

It's been a long time since I have read the original series. I heard that the new epilogue was coming out, though. I should go take a look at it later.

Also, I have created a new character! That will be the main character that I will be using.

I have to say, that power is really creative. I'm mostly only creative with powers when it comes to the terms and conditions that people still neglect to read even if they're mildly interesting.

I can understand that, but I think the sax has more potential to be... well, fun. Jazz and the mobility given to a saxophone player just makes the instrument more appealing, not to mention it's ability to play both classical and funkier music at equal levels, while the other instruments like clarinet are typically constrained...

Violin, though, is pretty good. It's like the string sax.

Do saxophone players get to play second fiddle to Itzak Perlman? I think not.

Okay. Now from what I've read the Orphanage no longer exists. Is this true?
