Well, when they find out Azrael soldiers were actually innocent people with mind control, they'll revive them probably.

Cut out the spirit bomb thing, and he won't actually defeat Oozak given the power difference, and you should be good as far as I care.

Honestly, and this is just me, why not save the transformation for a more meaningful point for your character? I believe you said its even less common than the Super Saiyan transformation, so why make it occur during a simple curb stomp of a bunch of minions? Not that taking on that large of a hoarde would be a cakewalk, but I'm sure you understand my point.

Gates of Hell was what, 20 pages? And that arc was long as Hell itself.
