Unit. If I did good showing Brun the ropes (and encouraging him to rush alchemy), he'll be able to beat G-Tech to alchemy by a mile.

I'm aiming for the wonder, personally. The unit is more of a nice afterthought. I'll probably make it a dangerous expensive land-only weapon so I don't have to deal with it!

Permanent +1 science would leave G-Tech sprinting ahead of everyone else technologically after a little while. Especially if he uses the free tech on enlightenment.

Your right. One would either coming out somewhere around turn 16 with alchemy, or they avoid agriculture and bronze and don't mine or farm and come out maybe 4-6 turns sooner with it. Without any infrastructure development and bee lining it I imagine someone would likely have alchemy by turn 8.

He'll be fine, I'm sure. If you rush alchemy but still get essentials (like farms and a growing population), you can research alchemy in 11 turns.

That's quite alright. I didn't know either when I first got here.

OoC stands for "Out of Character". That's the type of conversation we're having right now- myself, the writer behind the nation of G-Tech Corporation, and you, the writer behind Brunslavia. IC, on the other hand, stands for "In Character". That refers to posts you are writing as your actual nation, the civilization you applied for.

So, in this particular Roleplay, it is important to post what are your nation is doing doing in our In-Character thread. I can say Out of Character that I'm planning to make some wonder or invade some nation, but it doesn't matter unless I make an In Character post about it. In this Roleplay, all of our In Character posts are confined to the In Character thread, which has a hyperlink in the first post in this thread. You should post about your farm-building ambitions and the like there

If you see someone say "OC" Oftentimes that is the same as "OOC" just shortened. In my experience anyway.
