I'm thinking something Military, based on the rule of the Heroes. Maybe have one population designated as Ariarchs that can be mobilized and when they are there are certain military benefits. Maybe something is gained for every victory they have? I'm trying to think of a way to incorporate the idea of a Senate of Ariarchs into it, along with the two ideas the Tharak draw on (Roman Republican Virtue and Homeric Greek Glory)
Also, why is the Tharaki homeland province/local area surrounded by a black circle?

Alternatively, by the by, my civilization can grant major bonuses to races that willingly provide members to be sacrificed to or worship in the temples of the Dark Gods. Yknow, if you're interested

INTELLIGENT LIFE # 19
Species Name: Homo Castorian
Species Appearance:(Image)
Species Biology: There are 2 genders, male and female. They are omnivores, eating fish, as well as leaves, branches, bark, water lilies, and more. They have long front teeth that are used to bite down trees. They have a thick and well oiled fur and a layer of blubber that keeps them warm in the winter, and can swim comfortably in water up to -50 degrees celsius, but it gives them a more pudgy appearance. Since the monolith they have sprouted into a more upright posture, drastically extended their average lifespan, and maintained there distinct large flat tail and webbed feet, though this has sometimes been a hinderance it aides with long range warnings and construction. They have reasonably large efficient brains, excellent hearing, smell, and touch, with a mildly poorer sense of sight compared to other species.
Species Climate: Treeland - The space next to the grey fill with 5f and 2m (Where the bright green outline is)
Species History: Evolving from Giant Beavers, the Casorians were good at construction and logistics naturally. It was how they got food. They constructed dams that water would fill. Ecosystems would occupy it, including fish, frogs, insects, and algae among other creatures, and the Castorians could move wood easier through it. When the Monolith arrived there brain grew and became more efficient, and they began to spread out from their traditional stomping grounds and into the modern day. Today there appearance represents there mentality, a mix between the past and the future.

Interesting...
Otherwise, Welcome to the RP! Please choose starting spot on interactive map not adjacent to other factions and feel free to post IC from turns 1-14!
Thank you. The areas I hoped for are adjacent to other players (green outline). I will choose others.

Great House System-I would say this is a feudal system, but in a feudal system someone usually pledges fealty to a king but there are no kings
the Houses each rule their own section of land, and thus are loosely united, there is a Council that is made up of the Highlords of each House.
So these are the three main Great Houses,I would only be able to use one of the houses' bonuses
House Sadras- The House of scholars this ancient family is dedicated to research and pursuit of knowledge, their chief deity is Azara goddess of mysteries and knowledge ,+1 Science each turn
House Avalis- A House of skilled warriors, and dedicated military leaders many of their sons and daughters trained in the Justicar Order, their chief deity is Lord Dagoth god of honor, and righteous battle ,provides +3 guard
House Narndus - This House is the house of artists, and cultural scholars, many painters, poets, and songwriters make up the ranks of this House, their main deity is Eos god patron of the arts,+1 culture each turn
I'm not sure on the costs of the houses bonuses so I'll let Harkback decide on that
