You are an Amora, one of the charismatic winged dwellers of the First Ethereal Plane. The First Ethereal Plane was the first plane out of the Five Ethereal Planes. It was the first place where blessed mortal souls arrive to, and it was the place where these souls go to get a good experience of the afterlife. However, the four bridges between the Five Ethereal Planes were destroyed, and the mortal souls were damned to remain at their current plane forever. They could never ascend to the Highest Ethereal Plane, the place where they can finally reunite with all they love; the Highest Ethereal Plane was essentially Paradise, but its true name is Nirvana. After long miserable centuries, the Bridge Builder had arrived, miraculously and with long toil, fixing the bridges between worlds.
There was finally hope for your miserable soul. Many of the mortal souls had finally ascended to the higher planes, some even arriving to Nirvana.
But it seems that you were cursed by Fortunia. Alas, the Odium, wretched demons they are, had established an attack on all Ethereal Planes. While the Ethereal Planes had managed to fend off the Odium, the bridges were broken again. The Bridge Builder was captured, locked forever in the Abyss, home of the Odium; the Abyss was essentially hell, where all the damned souls, Lapsus, and Odium go. The bridges were destroyed yet again in the attacks, of which were officially named the Second War of the Nether and Aether Imperiums. The leader of the Odium, Diabolis, was eventually forced to retreat, but not without a fight.
Chaos and discomfort replaced the peace and order that used to unite the people of the First Ethereal Plane. A group of Amora had banded together, each with one common mission: to fall into the Abyss. Their mission is to fall into the Abyss and transition into a Lapsus so that they can go and rescue the Bridge Builder from Diabolis’ Palace. They must do so quickly, however, because if they get corrupted too much... game over.
You are one of those Amora, wishing for hope on your journey.
Basically, you're going to meet with your revolutionary friends somewhere in the woods outside the forest. After a bit of interaction, you're going to go the edge of the island (First Ethereal Plane) and then jump into the Abyss to save the Bridge Builder.
Don't worry, you're not going to die. Enchantments made by Diabolis make it so that you can survive... for what reason, it is unknown. Probably eternal slavery and torture.
THE RULES
1. I want grammar skills passing above the seventh grade and well-written sentences that are easy to read.
2. I will not tolerate godmodding or metagaming at all. If that occurs for more than two posts, I will start metagaming or godmodding myself, and your character will die in weird and embarassing ways.
3. If you are not going to login for more than three days, please tell me. If you can't tell me, we'll set up someone to take over your character for you.
4. I expect you to be polite and cordial, at least in the OOC. Trolling and disrespect to the co-OPs and OP will not be tolerated.
5. When you are kicked from the RP, don't ever come here again.
6. Have fun! This law is strictly enforced.
