Along the Road from Early 2511, to late 2558, Doctor Catherine Halsey had to make a number of decisions. A number of things that would make or break history with a pen stroke. Many of them had long reaching consequences or short term pay offs. Any number of things could have differed, if only she wrote one thing instead of another. Typed one name instead of a dozen.

So what if it had been different? 300 original candidates, cut down by half, and once again. Over 1.36^743 different combinations of children to be selected as soldiers. What if the ones we knew never met, never got abducted, never knew war? What would be different? Would the war end faster? Would it even begin? Would Humanity make it? So many questions, with very little answer that would be more than conjecture. All we know is that SPARTANS write their own story in history, either by holding mountain passes in Ancient Greece, or by blowing up capital ships on the final frontier. They pave their way through the wave of enemy flesh so others don't have to know the sacrifices they made. So others can know childhood and normalcy.

This is the story of another bundle of 75 Children. A story of loss, pain, death, victory, and triumph.

This is the story of the other SPARTAN IIs.

As you have likely guessed, this RP will be taking place during the life and times of a SPARTAN II, played by you the RPer. In the RP it'll be a bit more emotional and character building than the books and games portray the SPARTANs as due to a few expected changes. I also expect that all of you know the general Lore behind the popular game and book series Halo. If you don't it's a bit odd that you're here, but don't worry it's kinda simple, and you'll likely be taught along the way (who knows you might find a new series of game to play). But in order to get into the crunchiness there's a few things to get out of the way:

You get three total warnings. On your forth warning you get asked to leave, and if you don't the mods are called.

• 1. No Godmodding/Meta-Gaming: This can be defined as playing your character without limitations or having your character know things they couldn't possibly know. Like a six year old conscripted child knowing of the impending Covenant threat or what the hell is going to happen to them when they go to sleep that night.
• 2. Don't be a dick in the OOC: You can have your character be an aggressive and smarter version of a certain political candidate in the IC. But the moment you act like a dick in the OOC thread you'll get a warning.
• 3. No One Liners: Three full lines of text per each IC post, anything less is frowned upon and is generally laziness and will not be accepted. Anything greater is acceptable and is smiled upon.
• 4. No 'Dick measuring' contests: The moment two of you start arguing over which character is better, and it doesn't contribute to goings on in the IC. You'll both get a warning.
• 5. For the love of god keep it PG-13: This is a general site rule, and while PG-13 is a blurred line nowadays, the rules of thumb are: nothing sexually explicit, and nothing overly violent. This is a place to role play as possibly mentally broken super-soldiers, not write out deviant fantasies.
• 6. No multicolor or odd dialogue: No colored text, and no italicized/bolded/underlines paragraphs. Reserve them for actual use instead of using them for everything.
• 7. If you have a problem with a player, take it to TG. If that does not work, bring it to the OP or a CoOP's attention. Do not turn the OOC thread into chaos.
• 8. You have a 72 hour grace period to post if you're holding someone back, after that your character will be forced to move on by the OP or Co-Op. Failure to return will result in character death.
• 9. Don't just write for yourself, other want to get involved as well. I realize it's human nature, but try to involve other people's ideas, themes, and characters. A major part in RPing is having other people, don't turn them away or cast a blind eye.

Both traits which put her on a notable advantage to other children. Her genetic markers however are the real boon, well within the room for error at a 98.4% match to required level.
• PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECT: Subject-045 is notable in both appearance as well, oval shaped jawline, well aligned teeth, Greek nose, auburn hair, emerald iris color, lightly freckled. All traits which were exceedingly rare in combination over five-hundred years ago. In addition she's a few inches taller than average. Post augmentation estimates a height of roughly 218 centimeters (7'2), and a weight of a little over 117 kg (257 lbs).
• PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF SUBJECT: Doctor Halsey's personal assessment implied that Subject-045 was notably shy to those who she didn't seem to be familiar with. However upon learning that [REDACTED] was a Navy Lieutenant, she seemed to warm up. Even going so far as to express her future thoughts of joining the Navy herself. Integrating Subject-045 into the SPARTAN-II program will be difficult in the sense that she may be distanced from the other subjects. However it's likely she will not shy away from pushing herself if she was serious about the prospect of future military enlistment.

Her education has been graded highly by the Colonial Administration, in the upper 15 percentile, a trait that the SPARTAN II program needs given their suspected involvement with tactical advisory should the Insurrection last as long as the worst case scenarios predict. Doctor Halsey's evaluation has noted that the girl is rather athletic, given her initial appearance of playing soccer with other children on a regulation sized field. It should be noted that she wasn't very winded despite the abnormal size of field for the children to be playing on.

Staff Sergeant, despite your no doubt best intentions for your request. I have hesitation about letting you get attached to the subjects, doing so will no doubt have a negative affect in your performance. Namely the training regimen that has been created and ran through by both yourself and all the trainers, as well as the number of war-game exercises you plan to run the subject through on their first week alone. Were this project not of the utmost importance to the security of the UNSC, I'd even ask for you to tone it down.

I assure you ma'am, I do have the best interest in mind despite your hesitation. It'll be three weeks before the kids get shipped here. In that time I want to get to know them, learn how to get under their skin. See what makes them tick. It'll also allow me to see when they're about to break. Rage is a damn good analgesic and one hell of a motivator, when they fall down, I'll get them angry, call them useless, wash outs. They'll get back up and forge on ahead, it's what all kids do. I'll push 'em enough so that they learn, grow better. But not enough to turn them into husks of human beings.

Sure, some might catch on when they're older, but by then it'll have been made clear what's going to happen. My goal is to train soldiers ma'am, not machines, and by God I'll train a batch in the coming years.

I think it's more of an order of when they were put into the database. Like, Halsey got a bunch of files to look through and started giving them number in the order she got them. All of said files were organised in their own way from the administration they were gotten from, so they would likely be in any order.
