Main members of the first (democratic) one are:

-UK
-France
-Germany
-Portugal
-Egypt
-Brazil

The other alliance has a few main members as well:

-Russia
-Greater Asia
-Italy
-Spain
-Malian Empire (with more realistic borders)

Both sides will have other neutral countries that would later join them (Argentina and Turkey to name a few)

If I may suggest, do away with Greater Asia. Use alt history to allow for the survival of a pro-Clearly Antagonistic faction CSA [Or have the U.S in a civil war otherwise]. Take Italy, Bosnia, Crotia, Slovenia and Spain, either keeping it as just Italy or naming it the [Neo, New, Nuovo, Novus, etc] Roman Empire. Keep the Ottoman Empire. Replace the Malian Empire with a stronger and more populated African power/nation. Make Germany neutral, possibly with the Nazis in power early. Or you could you always make a completely new idea, possibly with a War Plan Red-like scenario occurring, making America and its allies which are more allied with the US than the UK and its territories supporting it [With some outside help], and vise versa [With some more outside help]

I use a program called flagmaker when I need to make a flag, but that might not be enough depending on what you're planning.

I may have to postpone the project, I wish to focus on my current RP's and RL things. It will be a while before I put more effort into Nationstates and until then I don't want to run an RP of my own
