Actually, after WW 2, Nazi's in other countries did do testing for Atomic weapons in other countries, so your idea could still have some merits.
I would have to do research to find all the places, but historically Cadiz, Barcellona, and a few places in Chile and Argentina have documented evidence of NAzis moving there and even plans for munitions factories and the like.

The year is 2119, and humanity has expanded its reach far beyond planet Earth. Thanks to the development of faster-than-light travel in the year 2067, humans have been able to explore solar systems light years away from their own. By the year 2079, humans had set up their first colony on the planet Eden which was similar to Earth in the Brahe Solar System as well as several outposts on its moon Amazonia. Due to the considerable distance between Earth, these colonists were essentially on their own and had to rely on themselves.
To aid them in this, the colonists brought with them the massive semi-autonomous machines known as Giants with them. These Giants were immensely powerful and durable, serving the colonists as both working tools and protection from the local wildlife of Eden. They came in a variety of forms, some big and heavily armored while others were smaller and highly agile. They proved extremely useful to the colonists, and soon Eden had become prosperous due to the wealth of resources the planet held. In control of these Giants were people known as Pilots. These Pilots were men and women of incredible intelligence, agility, and strength who were able to handle the rigorous demands of the Giants.
Within a handful of generations, citizens of Eden began to feel less and less connected to their Earthly origin, and soon calls of independence rang from across the planet. The United Earth Council, or UEC, was not willing to allow this to happen. Eden was too valuable to let loose, and by the year 2116, the UEC sent in an expeditionary force to subdue to colonists.
This proved to do the exact opposite, however, as the citizens of Eden saw this as an act of invasion of their homeland. Protests rang out from across the planet, and soon the spark for conflict was provided after UEC forces opened fire upon an unruly mob in the Eden capital of Atlas in the year 2117. This incident, which led to the deaths of several innocent protestors, would be known as the Atlas Incident. UEC leadership refused to punish those responsible, which was the final straw for the colonists. Civil war had begun as the colonists formed a resistance known as the Minutemen.
Two years after the Atlas Incident, the conflict continued on with the Minutemen controlling the Northern hemisphere while the UEC controlled the Southern. A stalemate had been reached, as the Minutemen couldn't match the military prowess of the UEC and the UEC were limited in both numbers and resources due to the immense distance between Earth and Eden. However, they weren't the only players involved in the conflict. Independent groups emerged from the conflict, some favoring the UEC, some favoring the Minutemen, and others choosing to favor neither.
The fate of Eden rests in the hands of those with those talented enough to stand above the rest. Will that be you, Pilot?
I'm thinking of putting in character, giant, and faction apps. While I want it to be mainly focused on characters, I'm willing to allow those who are up to the challenge to take charge of the UEC force, the Minutemen, or any other faction. I'd allow custom Giants, weapons, and technology for people to use as long as it's somewhat realistic.

I'm thinking of putting in character, giant, and faction apps. I'd be interested in that. I wouldn't be the Minutemen's leader, but maybe a high ranking NCO?

4. No 'Dick measuring' contests: The moment two of you start arguing over which character is better, and it doesn't contribute to goings on in the IC. You'll both get a warning.
5. For the love of god keep it PG-13: This is a general site rule, and while PG-13 is a blurred line nowadays, the rules of thumb are: nothing sexually explicit, and nothing overly violent. This is a place to role play as Operators Operating Operationally, not write out deviant fantasies.
6. No multicolor or odd dialogue: No colored text, and no italicized/bolded/underlines paragraphs. Reserve them for actual use instead of using them for everything.
7. If you have a problem with a player, take it to TG. If that does not work, bring it to the OP or a CoOP's attention. Do not turn the OOC thread into chaos.
8. You have a 72 hour grace period to post if you're holding someone back, after that your character will be forced to move on by the OP or Co-Op. Failure to return will result in character death.
9. Don't just write for yourself, other want to get involved as well. I realize it's human nature, but try to involve other people's ideas, themes, and characters. A major part in RPing is having other people, don't turn them away or cast a blind eye.

Los Santanas, California. Founded in the late 1700s by Spanish Colonials, it has a long and rich history, culminating in becoming the most populous city in North America in the year of 1975. Coincidentally the same year in which Meta-Human populations started to balloon. As of current, there were an assumed 18 Meta-Humans for every 200 US citizens. Enough to be an everyday occurrence in most places in the US, but not enough to be so common as to be a worry. At least it shouldn't have.
In late 1989, a small group of Meta-Humans broke in to a Nuclear Silo near Bismarck North Dakota with the intent of launching it at the USSR. Though the US government was not capable of responding in time for to prevent launch, they didn't need to, an anonymous team of Meta-Humans raided the facility in time to stop the launch from continuing, and detaining everyone involved with the plot within the silo. Although the US never learned their names, the radio transmissions between the team were recorded, Atlas, Jaeger, Nexus and Chrono. Four heroes who stopped the apocalypse, and disappeared just as quickly.
It was this event that lead to the UN signing of 'The Bismarck Accords' a binding resolution outlining the difference and regulations between Meta-Human Vigilantism and Policing, allowing Meta-Humans to use their powers to assist law enforcement in the capturing and detainment of criminals, with the exchange of being held to the same rules and regulations as normal law enforcement officers.
Over the next five years, the four heroes who saved the world from a nuclear holocaust reappeared across the continental US, none of them becoming member of organized law enforcement, but their reputation stopping them from being arrested. Until they stopped showing up completely at the turn of the century. No appearances were made by any of the quartet. Until 2012 when Chrono finally revealed herself and signed on as a member of the Los Santana's Meta-Regulation Department. It's where she remains, tight lipped as ever on the location of her former friends.
Yet all around stand men, women, and children spurred on by their example, ready to fight and serve for justice, vigilante or not, Meta-Human or not, they all stand for a common goal. The cessation of villainy and crime within their home. But they aren't the only ones with plans, those with their own goals stand to test both their own and the city's mettle. In an attempt to simply change the world to their own view, or through societal detachment, they wish ill on the heroes of a new age.

Hello, and welcome to Knights of Steel. This RP is a mix of Character, Faction, and Worldbuilding. This RP is based on the game series TItanfall, developed by Respawn, and thus borrows a lot of the concepts from the two games. For those interested in joining, you will have the option of joining the UEC, The Frontiersmen, or any other factions that have been caught in the conflict as one of the elite individuals known as Pilots. You'll have your own Knight which you can equip with whatever fits you best.
While this is mainly an RP based around characters, it will also heavily revolve around the various factions as they battle for control of Eden. You are encouraged to suggest anything you feel would be good for the RP, whether it be Knights, weapons, cities, factions, or anything else that tickles your fancy. while it's not required, it would be helpful to watch this video, which goes over the lore of Titanfall, which this RP is heavily based upon.
As something to note, while this is futuristic, technology is still limited. Some things to note:
*Most weaponry is still traditional ballistic that would be similar to what is found today, although ion and plasma weaponry is available to organizations that can afford them
*Communication and travel from Earth and Eden still takes a significant amount of time, specifically five years
*While semi-autonomous AI is prevalent, there are no androids, synths, etcRules
1) OP and CO-OP word is law
2) No Godmodding or Metagaming
3) No one-liners
4) No posting before your application is accepted
5) If possible, when fighting against other posters, try and communicate beforehand how you want the fight to end, that way the thread isn't filled with short paragraphs of people shooting and missing
6) Feel free to express yourself with as graphic as language, imagery, etc, in your writing, as long as it's within NS rules
7) Have fun

April, 1946. The Second World War is long over. The Nuremburg trials are well under way. Despite her defection with several documents and POWs over the English Channel, Sturmbannführer Elsa Konig is put on trial for aiding in crimes against humanity. Her case is no where near as straight forward as expected, quickly becoming a classified case. Sturmbannführer Konig reveals several notable facts revolving around her previous posting within the Schutzstaffel: As head of the SS' occult and supernatural research. It is revealed that the last and now largest facility of the SS research branch is located overseas in Argentina, constructed in secret from the Argentinian government.
Both the MI6 and OSS concur that letting the fanatics of a now dead Nazi Germany get their hands on supernatural artifacts and functions cannot be allowed. A strike team is put together of allied soldiers and spies, with Sturmbannführer Konig acting as a guide to the hidden facility. Their goals is to retrieve as much data from the facility as possible for retrieval and allied research and to destroy the facility itself with extreme prejudice. It is assumed that the facility is no larger than a standard research lab. Intelligence is wrong. Nearly six years of expansion and excavating have lead to a veritable village located underground. And a collection of supernaturally powered soldiers, scientists, and creatures.
As a member of Strike Team Noire, you will be participating in Operation: Brass Eye. Your actions will reflect what result will stem from this operation's end, for better or worse, the fate of future generations hinges on you.
