Enjoy your stay, and as always,
thank you for choosing White Star Line- the premier provider of transatlantic shipping.
It is April 10th, 1912. The R.M.S. Titanic has just set sail on its maiden voyage, and the 2,228 passengers and crew on board are just beginning to settle into their new home. As the smooth waters of the Atlantic rock them back and forth, the First Class passengers lounge in lavish smoking rooms or enjoy state of the art indoor pools, gyms, and elaborate, expensive cabins. Below them are the well-to-do Second Class passengers, not able to enjoy quite as nice facilities but certainly having a grand time in the finest ship to ever set sail. And finally are is Third Class, confined to the dullest of rooms but happy that they have been able to save up enough funds to make the trip across the Atlantic to America.
Some very wealthy and important people are aboard, such as John Jacob Astor IV, Isidor Strauss, and Benjamin Guggenheim. The passengers are safe in the knowledge that the Titanic's crew are the finest and most competent Britain could offer, and are certain of a quick but swell voyage across the Atlantic.
Little did they know that far away, across the Atlantic, waited their fate. The Titanic's destiny was locked with this craggy iceberg- the vessel was doomed to go down by its hand and become a sea tragedy unparalleled by anything up to that point, or for long after.
Please, fill out these forms so that we can accept you aboard the Titanic!
