Mind if I could get a few insights to the enemy force?

Three modified barges (Equivalent to Battlecruisers) in orbit.

Approximately 400 raiders in the city proper, AA guns set up outside the city limits. And about six Federation Marines remaining by the time Salem gets there.

Right, jump close to orbit (which you can do, you just cant jump away while in orbit) disembark marines while DDs create picket line, CRs/BRCs, and BB form a firing line and rain sheer hell fire down upon the enemy barges.

Marines land in landing zones across the city and sniff out Pirate scum (is space Scurvy contagious?) link up with Federation Marines and mop any poor fools who are left.

If it gets that bad the Republic would probably have to stoop to that level. As the Tagli know too well, the Antivarians are not to fond of such tactics.

Clearly, I'd like for the alliance to continue. They just need to accept that Hailstorm was unintentionally created like this, and that he merely wants to be buddies. :p

In any case, he will just likely refuse to fight; it is considered dishonorable to do so.

All we really need to do is capture one of those crocs and bring it to one of our biolabs alive and we can reverse engineer out of it everything we need to render them useless to you.

If you think your worlds would result in that, realize that a battle for Gaia effectively would almost never end. Each swarmworld is the size of a small continent, and is covered in mass drivers and the like that can fire on forces on other worlds from pretty much everywhere. Each time you take a continent, fire is received from several thousand others. It would make Stalingrad look like a stray insult, and a planetary assault look like a pissing match.

It was really stupid of him to reveal that he was a corrupted human - the only way I can think of salvaging this is if your ambassador kills Hailstorm, claiming that he was unaware that his companion was "more" than a simple robot. If the other potential pact members are willing enough to believe such an obvious fallacy you could just get away with it.

I was planning on having him "escorted out" (unwillingly) so that the three remaining parties could sort things out without conflict.

If he hadn't done so, they would've learned of it sooner or later. And by the ambassador killing Hailstorm, Qil has sentenced himself to death. The Korosians and humans have merely 'bonded' to a point where they just see each other as equals.

Just wait a bit more Olim, I want to see how far things can go.

And I really want this shitshow to work out properly. Since any corrupted human would need to commit suicide to maintain his honor, unless it was out of military necessity.

Maybe so. I was thinking a chance encounter during an exploration mission by a scout ship or two. It's relatively simple. Although I need info on the sort if systems you'd like it to be in.

Just remember - never mention, much less parade, another one of these abominations in front of the honorable members of this (potential) Pact again. This is already a whole ton to overlook, and if you in the future expect us to, say, start working with these monstrosities you've got another thing coming.
