I've been in a couple places where outside servers and such have been used. They mainly contain banter, and they do it well.

Still more calculations (and scientific research!) than I've ever done for the science side of an RP - but then again I'm the person who's done ridic detailed org charts for every level of Imperial Army unit so yeah =P

Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. My previous region, which is still advertised on my sig, died basically due to to external chats. Previous FT groups like the 'legendary' FAR (which won't fucking die until two years after it was conceived - 2014 was a rough year) and such also died due to the chat group becoming nothing but banter, and then the whole RP group forgetting that there was an RP and solely chatting on the group while people who actually wanted to RP were abandoned on the threads and ignored. It is too difficult to separate discussion.

I'm not decrying this group's chat group, though, I'm all for it as a way to minimize the rapid growth of this thread. I'm just pointing out the dangers because I'm a paranoid fuck.

Obviously robots that are less-human looking are preferable. Androids are present in the Coalition, though they are clearly labeled as such, as are other forms of advanced robotics.

That is good, as such android Humanoid Interfaces may be closer than you think...

I don't know if the Empire even knows or acknowledges your existence; if they do then you would be seen as even lower than non-humans as at least the Failures of Infinity did not choose to have that inferior form while your people did. It's more likely they deny your existence as an embarrassment to Humanity or have yet to find out about you, though.

I believe that unlike the Concordat, the Pact is never meant to be some kind of unified Space UN/NATO with standardisation and political and non-military activities, more like just an alliance by three fanatic nations (two of which are so insane they pull guns at the drop of a hat) something like the Axis Powers.
