Oh dear. There honestly should be a proposal for a galactic standard currency for concordat nations. It would definitely make things a bit easier.

However massive empires would have to hurt their galactic economies by changing currency

That would make sense. I'd suggest the same thing for the Pact, but we really do need to stop trying to kill each other first.

Now that that's in, it's apparently time to introduce the guy who finds this and suddenly gets accosted by the Cobalt Ascendancy because he might have something of strategic importance. Namely, a possible way to get vikings into space. Because if I can get some viking berserkers as shock troops out of this, I totally will. Speaking of which, would it be possible?

Not really. It's mainly because I thought contact would be wanted later and to avoid his planet's molestation. Evidently I was kinda wrong.

Where got time for that shit.

Anyway, over time I might allow an offer to establish trading centers in neighbouring factions, akin to warehouses so they don't have to send their ships over to do the trade. Jupiterra takes care of sending goods and stocking the warehouses with easy-to-trade goods, for a small fee and a secure space. An incentive for having good planetary patrols.

So you no longer remember participating in banters?

Anyway, night everyone. Good luck on finding the Vikings first, Pact members, what with Anowa's treacherous placement of their planet, I have no doubt it will prove a challenge. See you in the morning.

I really should start doing that too...

Would the Morimpan sector be known to the Galactic Concordat? If not, that'll be a great destination for the exploration mission.

Also, a suggestion for the map, it would be good to actually label the nations - I can't tell the difference between "sickly green" and "light green", and what I have guessed is "light green" may actually be "lime". The bright background doesn't help, either, I suggest lowering the brightness.

Anyone want some action with the Empire? I'd be happy to have something other than the Pact meeting to respond to. Options include such fun things as trading at the Hidaka Special Economic Zone, tripping the Imperial Border Sensor Net and getting a Kabekage-class stealth destroyer wolfpack on your ass, or maybe I can rustle up an Imperial Navy Exploration Mission to conveniently roam into some fun events.
