Totally awesome.
Because sometimes even national leaders just want to hang out

Bruh. We're in Missouri. Did I not clarify that? Should I clarify that? Goddamnit, me.
Damn.
Dibs on a London-esque place, then. This is post-WWII 'the world went crazy' scenario, right? I can say that some British troops based in the US at the Event established their own town based on the place they know best.
I'll expand on that in the actual app, of course, but is that kosher?

I'm thinking about making a good guy version of Killer Croc/gentle giant sort of deal, you feelin' me?

IC, no one knows. OOC, they're ordinary reptiles that were changed when Hitler accidentally brought magic back. They're just the same as humans, but with the nictating membranes and the edothermicness and the scales and all.

Right, also, what's the likelihood of a semi-slave-driving "circus" made up of abnormals (warlocks, Reptis slaves and what-have-you)

CHARACTER APPLICATION
Nation Name: Kassaran
Character Name: Vyren Baa'jol
Character Sex/Gender: Male/Masculine
Sexuality: Straight... if anything. He's not one for love or personal interests of that nature for good reason...
Appearance: Tall, lanky, but exceptionally fit, not much is usually seen of him outside of the distinctive clothing and attire a member of the Order of the Jackal wears. Sharp, dark brown eyes are known to be quite piercing and low brows tied to a seemingly constant stern visage lends him the look of an either unamused or upset individual on the regular. Not that he minds the aversion of others from his glare, it just makes his job as a Jackal Courier easier.
Character Race: Human
Abilities : An extremely fit runner, he's a courier for the Order of the Jackal, a cultist group on the underground that are known in public by only their runners, which wear the distinctive garb of Jackal cultists. Jackal runners and couriers aren't known for being easily swayed, as not much is known of the Order of the Jackal, the group maintains a generally small profile in spite of their high strangeness, perhaps only due to the inherent strangeness of the strange new world around them.
Powers: Thanks to the garb of the cultists of the Order of the Jackal, it is obvious not most couriers nor runners use their eyes, and the sheer darkness they're known to prefer lends creedance to the saying that the Jackal's ears are their eyes. Runners, acting as the information collection system for the Order tend to appear or materialize from unknown locations. A keen knowledge of how the world not only is, but will be has been described as the only way to understand how Jackals move with the blinding speed they do in crowds and tight quarters. Agility and Dexterity also bordering on the edge of superhuman are augmented by years of training in magic enhancement and fortification in one's abilities, but also come at a price. Jackals often suffer from long recovery times from wounds, the very life force they use to heal from most injuries often going straight into repairing muscles breaking down in their bodies as they run.
Personality: Outside of his job, he's quite the friendly character, and the lack of his Jackal's garb probably lends good adage into his character. A pair of slim black trousers and white button-up shirt with accompanying slate vests lend him a surprisingly matured and professional look in spite of how relaxed it also makes him appear. He's got stories for days of his various adventures and is perfectly outward about his membership within the Order of the Jackal, though he can't speak of what he does or runs for them regardless. Not that many care in the first place.
Backstory: Born into a decent home as the only child to two settlers living on the edge of the Crest, an expanse of land overlooking the Western edge of the Great Forest, a sudden storm struck the area when he was nineteen, causing him to become hopelessly lost. After spending almost three years looking for the Western expanse and the Crest, he was finally approached by a group of people dressed in strange cultist garb calling themselves Jackals. While not much is divulged about this interaction, it becomes known that Vyren received his cult name and was immediately accepted into their ranks and all interest in finding his family was foregone for still undeclared reasons. It was only recently that he managed to be assigned to the cult's chapter in the town of Magus. Now working as one of their more active runners, he also spends much of his off-time haunting the various different saloons, taverns, and bars that are open in the town while also spending his nights travelling the city streets seemingly without rest. It's unknown why precisely he's always moving, but his activity seems to match the fervor with which other runners and couriers move and so his lack of sleep generally goes unnoticed for the keen wit behind the mask.
RP Sample : You invited me here bub...
Summary: A member of the cultist Order of the Jackal, he's a primary runner and courier for the cult in the city of Magus and is generally left to his own devices. Approachable, but not oft approached, his stern visage lends him the look of a man far older than he.

Of course, every banana republic needs a resource to base its economy off of; does this universe have any magical or highly-valuable resources that could make a trader in that good extremely rich?
