They remained "neutral" during the war, not officially taking a side.

And as of right now. Since the change of leadership in the Dominion, Skycrown relations with them have degraded greatly, and the only thing keeping that refugee colony safe is the fact that Ylgim is still alive. So basically when Ylgim dies, the Skycrowns will no longer have any connection and relationship to the Dominion

Question, is it allowed that I can have a redguard who looks similar to a Turaeg since the Redguard are afrerall, based off of the African kingdoms like the Songhai and Ethiopia? I mean, the Turaegs are in the same region and well, not much is known if Hammerfell has any desert Nomads n all.

Your character can certainly look like it, as long as he's not an actual Tuareg!

Bio: Life in Windhelm was...tolerable, for those who came from Red Mountain all those years ago. In the place of Stormcloak, Brunwulf Free-Winter* rules in Windhelm, the status of nonhumans (specifically Dunmer) excelled in the conflict since then. The Imperials needed a few Dunmer who were sick and tired of being kicked to the curb, to act as spies, leaders, warriors, and tradesmen to further the war effort. Enter, the Five Forsworn Swords, champions of the downtrodden Dark Elves who fought in a counterrevolution against the Stormcloaks. Since that time, the decendents have spread throughout Skyrim and Tamriel, both in number, and in assets. The death of Titus Mede II demanded that the Empire needed assets in the shadows, which meant appeasing the Molag Bol and the Thieves Guild, and investing in the talents of ne'er do wells and more shady operations. It was by these shady operations the Saviador family rose to prominence in Skyrim, similar to the mafias of our world. The Imperial Crown relies upon them to take care of those who are too politically inconvenient to oust them with simple attacks, and will no doubt be used in the upcoming war with the Aldmer, as the Dunmer and High Elves hold no love for one another.

Of course, that is then, this tale is of Danteus, raised in the tradition of an assassin and a diplomat, to negotiate and enforce deals gained by years of accumulation, Danteus had his life set out before him. He was to succeed his father, and his ambitions to outdo House Lorhalion who designed to become the Imperial Battlemage. To sit on the Elder Council, or to tend to the family "business" was to be Danteus's lot in life.

Danteus by no means was wroth, but used what skills he had to earn himself enough money to suit him on a journey, and he decided to make his own fate, hopefully one away from the

The man's a thinker, and has many grand and odd ideas...a good friend to have.

I have seen pictures of Redguards ranging all the way from Berber over Mande (my character, probably the most common type, too) to Wolof. Turaeg are just southern Berbers, so there are examples of that.
(I just did a quick image search and as far as Africans go, individual differences surpass racial differences just like it is with Europeans, but just as a general tendency of sorting ethnicities by shades of black.

And by the way, Stross M'Kay is culturally definitely a nod to (Pre-Islamic) Berbers of Morroco and Algiers. My idea was, that he learned it in the Mage's guild, studying old scrolls and transcriptions of runes he found in some old ruins (...maybe having learned the Dwarven language would be more appropriate there? Not many dragon temples around unless you are in Skyrim (the game, not the province), right?)

As I stated before, scholars in the world have been working on translating Dovahzul and such. So it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that he has a book with the characters of Dovahzul and the translated ones to allow for him to figure out what is said. That said, speaking it is much less in the realm of possibility unless you are a Greybeard.
