Such as the old Type-85
The National People's Revolutionary Navy
The NPRN is China's primary naval arm of the military, and is incredibly large due to its immense funding (partially to combat Japanese and European aggression). It's quite modern, and boasts a large force of carriers and submarines, many which are recent models. Nuclear submarines in particular are a strong suit of China's navy, and make up a significant part of the navy's strength.
Total Naval Strength: 820
Aircraft Carriers: 18 (All nuclear carriers. Comparable to American models.)
Frigates: 61
Destroyers: 85
Corvettes: 28
Submarines: 152 (We're proud of our sub force)
Coastal Defense Craft: 46
Mine Warfare: 12Land Systems

Roughly $1 trillion spent per year on the military. (these are estimates) Not to mention >20,000 nuclear warheads.

Well, I did mention in my app that I had a GDP per capita of $24,000. So that give a GDP of ~$26 trillion (which I just realized is really high). I could increase funding (double it). Going by the assumption that the sheer dedication of the workforce and usage of super-computers in the economy would let me keep a sizable level. Not to mention we don't have as much slack (extra population) to take care of.

1100, and 'warships' is vague. It could mean very light craft, though, I actually didn't read all of their app until just now, I just noticed "18 nuclear aircraft carriers", and got worried that you were going overboard. For reference, I mean, I only have one carrier, and it isn't a supercarrier. I don't want to have to deal with every other major power having the best of the best all around in everything, and then be the only guy in the RP who is trying to limit their strength to a realistic level.

America is known to have 20 carriers as of today. I'll probably have to double my military spending.

That's including helicopter carriers, which are a whole different beast to the nuclear carriers.

The former is huge, the latter is considered a regular small carrier by other nation's standards. Additionally, my fleets are mostly composed of destroyers and subs. I haven't decided the ratio of ships like carriers AAS and patrol ships.
