Good plan, I'm going to become a Constitutional Monarchy, and then build my military of which I'll use to defend the Byzantine, Joch trying for Anatolia it turns out.

Mostly border tweaks + New Italy state. The non-country is now part of actual countries (I seem to recall an agreement to that extent on the thread).

Tfw your first move would be to invade southern Italy, only to find out its occupied.

Just noticed this. I feel obliged to say that even if southern Italy had remained available, I'd never have let your fleet cross the Adriatic.

Fortunately, he has proclaimed that he posses no desire for the sweet taste of Europe, in most occasions I'd trust him (Because he awesome), however, considering what we will be participating in most will be war, we can never truely know.

Something less permanent would be better, though, like a trade deal or the likes. Royal marriages are bad when they break off... a trade deal can just be stopped when needed.
