Great, thanks! With the permission of the OP, I'm going to lead some of the UN soldiers into the forest, so that they can be introduced to our ever-friendly wolf and troll friends.

The op placed a two character restriction for a reason. Would people please stop trying to break it!

Also the troll isn't a character.

The wolf forest-protector is definitely a character, and I thought the troll "janitor of the forest" was also a character.

We'd be pretty stupid to follow you any further. We'd be cut off from the UN force and in a land we don't understand.

Sure, I guess. My next move would be for the giant to pick him up and go back to the Gahnospinel Mines ("urgent business, no time to explain.") If you're not going any further, though, I can surely adapt.

By the way, for clarification, we are just at the edge of the forest. That's how you could see the dwarf but could only just now see the giant.

5 metres is sixteen feet. The average story is about ten feet/3 metres tall, though residences can be eight feet. My idea of two stories is around 17 to 20 feet, so 16' is a bit less than two stories - Arsenault is exaggerating a tad because this is the first time he's seen a giant and he's having some mixed signals going on between his eyes and his brain at the moment.

I assume none of you were going to shoot her or anything, and that the whole thing was just going to be a standstill, so I wrapped up the encounter. If you do want to shoot her (throw a grenade or something) or attempt communication, I gave you the opportunity at the end of the post.
