Primarily a result of the semi-closed primary system, in which the voters tend to be longtime Libertarians, and more likely to know someone like Longwood, someone who has been a major party figure, first Libertarian Governor, and letting him score higher than in open-primary states like Missouri.

Tbh I anticipated a big win in Missouri, what with the direct appeal to non-Libertarians in Wellston, and the hourly airing of that speech over statewide television. I had totally forgone NC.

But I'm not complaining, NC was solid. But seeing as to how Nebraska is also closed, I'm expecting an even bigger win for Longwood there than previously expected.

The primary reasons for his winning Missouri were his better ground game in the state, and that he competed on the airwaves, he had a definite edge in direct appeal, while there was no definite winner-both had news, and Longwood had more of it, but Breckinridge also made targeted advertisements, generally worked the state better.

Missouri being near-ish the Great Plains gave Longwood a little of a boost in name recognition, and that combined with the airtime kept him close and kept Breckinridge from breaking away.

Interesting. Definitely valid.

When will we hold Nebraska?

I would like to put in another debate before then. Probably next week.

Neat.

I'm anticipating a win for Longwood, so long as he can keep an advantage over Breckinridge, because I feel he will be nominated in the Convention process due to his ties to the party since the 1970s, and name recognition within the Party, especially the large and powerful Reform Caucus.

He definitely has the advantage in Nebraska. But, I think Breckinridge is strong enough to force a contested convention, which would admittedly lean towards Longwood. He still has a shot, though. He could really use a good debate.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Sanabel
Character Name: Anthony "Tony" Schlang, Esq.
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 43
Character Role: Secretary of the Interior for the Winston Administration
Appearance: Image
Character State of Origin: New Jersey
Character Affiliation: Democrat
Main Strengths: Is a smooth operator, has a cult following mostly of guidos, frat boys, and internet meme lords, can be highly manipulative, has a fair amount of bank taken mostly from lobbyists and embezzlement.
Main Weaknesses: Succumbs to every earthly whim and desire, has a vastly inflated self image, has little to no meaningful political experience, is despised by many
Short Bio:
Tony Schlang was born in 1973 to rising stockbroker(and eventual yuppie) Donny Schlang. He was raised by his mother, a former Italian actress, in the NYC suburbs of North Jersey. There, he attended private school, where he failed miserably both grade wise and socially. He was a total disappointment to his high strung father, which set him on his life's course, as in a way, he has always remained a hormonal self loathing adolescent.

After graduating highschool, Tony attended Syracuse University, where he studied business. He just barely graduated, too girl crazy and wrapped up in the party scene to pay any real mind to his studies. After graduating, he attended Rutgers Law School, where he got in due to his father's hefty donations. Upon earning his law degree, Tony became a small time defense lawyer in Jersey City.
Other Info: Has a strong New Jersey accent, considers himself to be a close friend of Bill Rodham, is notorious for his sexual escapades, has an estranged wife who is on the DNC, and his father, Donny Schlang is his own campaign manager and now Chief of Staff.

I was thinking he and Rodham could misappropriate Treasury funds on a private jet used solely for hookers.

I'm thinking of creating a Libertarian candidate that has two of these four traits:

- Served in the Army in Active Duty and is distinguished

- Overly sexual sometimes

- Believes conspiracy theories

- Company CEO
