Why is that a problem if he's en route to Sacramento with the Mayor of Austin?

I just like having leaders that's names are cool get shot and replaced with other people that may or may not have invasion plans of the world in his head...

President Waterman's already gonna drop dead in April, so it's not like a few months make much of a difference. Besides, it's not like we know he's going to try and shoot President Snow Frost.

I just wanted a guy that sounded like winter, as it can't come quick enough here, sadly...
I may have him try to work something out, he basically was an inventor that wanted his own airship factory and for the government to fund it, but the train companies lobbied to stop him from getting funding in the United Texan Congress.he now sees Frost as the reason for his pain and suffering. combine this with a bad case of the crazies and we have our very own Charles J. Guiteau on the loose.

I have a few questions/statements that we should clarify, since my alt history is very intertwined with Germany.

I state in my app that a fairly significant amount of North German aristocrats, including von Bismarck, left to my country. I want to clarify when Bismarck comes to Superior, as he (now a statesman in my country and previously an influential leader in yours) will probably come up again; I think a reasonable explanation is that one of his sons, perhaps Nicolaus Heinrich Ferdinand Herbert von Bismarck (his eldest), comes to Superior in 1870 or so, and, after certain political failures and being superseded by von Wolfe, Bismarck follows his family right around the time of the South German invasions of the North.

Speaking of which, I want to understand more about the Unification of Germany; it looks to me like a liberal/moderate socialist populist movement, kind of like the "Crown from the Gutter" led by a Süddeutscher Bund (South German Federation) without a crown at all, and during which several of the dozens of tiny nations had violent revolutions and even invasions. I imagine that this, and presumably abolishing the monarchy (and aristocracy?), is what happened, but I want to figure out exactly what occurred. What happened to Kaisers Franz Joseph and Wilhelm I (or their equivalents), for example? Was the Aristocracy abolished, or did the extreme conservatives just flee because of the liberalism reason? Von Wolfe is clearly at least minor aristocracy, but as some sort of an extreme liberal leader did he advocate abolishing the aristocracy? Perhaps that's where he and Bismarck split.

I presume our nations have relatively poor relations, as a fair amount of liberal Germans (during the conservative and split period) moved to my region and many conservative Germans fled/moved to my nation after the liberal relations in Germany; that being said, probably not hostile to each other, and probably have a certain level of understanding with each other.

I think what might have happened is that based on the fact that German Austria is included in the Großdeutsches Reich is that Austria formed Germany after Hungary split from it around the 1840s, and thus was spared the instability of so many unrestful Slavic areas mostly. With a new stability ironically formed from splitting half the country apart, Austria focused on unifying Germany by first creating a South German Federation, then leading armies against Prussia to form a similarly puppeted North German Federation, then taking Alsace-Lorraine and you know what happens after that.

I changed my history a while back, a tad bit. Victor Von Wolf comes from North Germany, but has relatives and friends in south Germany. Just to clear that up a bit.

Victor Von Wolf and Otto Von Bismark play off of each other's ideas a bit, though Wolf was a bit more liberal in his teachings. Otto helped him in reuniting Germany, but didn't agree in some policies so perhaps that's why he left? they would still be on somewhat friendly terms however, possibly writing to each other about ideas and ideals to run a country. If you've noticed in the IC, I made Victor's successor extremely fond of both.

The Royal families were still kept in a high status in their regions, but don't hold any real power. Think of them as figureheads if you will. That's why it is considered a Republic, since they have no real power.

I think, that our countries, still being somewhat German, can build relations together as time goes on. Possible even becoming allies at some point. But not right now.

Austria was invaded after the unification of Germany, but Hungary was allowed a separate nation. That white mass in Europe would be Hungary in this case.

I really want to do a 1893 Chicago World's Fair I enjoy making parallels to real life, plus FERRIS WHEEL!!!, if you don't mind, so I claim major 1893 World's Fair, but World's Fairs were sporadic, so you're more than welcome to hold one whenever once again, most of them were RELATIVELY minor really, but it will be fun to see what people come up with. There were certain ones that were significantly larger and more influential than others, most notably 1851 London, 1853 New York, 1862 London, 1876 Philadelphia, 1889 Paris, 1893 Chicago, 1900 Paris, 1901 Buffalo, 1904 St. Louis, 1915 San Francisco, and 1933–34 Chicago.
1893 Chicago celebrated the discovery of the New World and sported a record 27 MILLION attendees; I'll figure out exactly what mine will be like later, but I'll want participation from everyone showing off their nation's finest whenever we get to that point.
