History of your country: Starting around 2482, several farming settlements who had grown tired under decades of control by the bandit kingdom of Wichita unified, they became increasingly difficult for the bandits to get tributes and fines from, and eventually they started fighting back when the bandit kingdom decided they would try and pull the settlements back into the fold by force. The bandits were decisevley defeated in a massive battle outside the ruins of Wichita, fleeing back into the city they were hunted down over the coming days and in the process brought more small towns into the new confederation. Overtime, through an expanding trade network and bloody conflicts against bandit tribes and fighting off the Native's, Kansaland became a dominant power on the central plains, controlling everything from Oakhome City to Nebrasken in the north, in between the plains far to the east of Denvur to the rolling hills of Western Missery. Kansaland is now a semi-powerful farming and industry based trade republic. Individual walled in settlements and towns dot the land, with the roads in between heavily guarded with watchtowers and toll posts, sending out patrolling troops to keep the roads safe.

Army Size and Equipment:
The army is hard to numerate precisely, mainly because of the nature of Kansaland society. Each settelment has a levy militia made up of adult men, farmers and trade workers and what not who take up machetes and bows when called upon by the local mayor or sheriff. The actual regular army, is made up of 11,000 paid soldiers who protect the borders, the capital and other major towns, the roads, etc and carry weapons ranging from long bows to machetes to scythes, with a small amount of low quality domestically produced revolvers and other miscellaneous weapons. Then, each local warlord or sheriff has his own band of warriors equipped with similar weapons, each regional war band usually containing about 100 or so men.
Economic Overview: Most populated towns and villages are walled in fortified settlements that rely on agriculture for food and income, on the inside of each town is usually a market with industry and homes surrounding it. Industry comes in the form of whatever is available in the local area, for example some areas have plentiful scrap that is recycled into more useful goods like weapons or farming tools. Some towns have a certified coin producer that turns scrap or mined copper and aluminum into small easily usable coins. Inside the main cities like Oakhome or Witchita, there is much more advanced industry where things like concrete and construction equipment can be produced.

History of your country: With the collapse of civilization few survived, and fewer survived in sizable groups. Those few that did however would be the first to establish communities and eventually the building blocks for resurgence of Human nations. Among these building blocks were small towns and holdouts across the southern and central plains. After One hundred years these different towns and holdouts fought one another into different alliances which slowly materialized into small independent kingdoms. After another hundred the Dominant City states in Kansas and Nebraska absorbed the smaller ones until roughly six remained. Culturally similar yet continuously at war the different groups of the region took small sections of one another but would lose other sections at the same times. This continued for years before one powerful State married into another. Within a generation the two became a single state that overpowered it's neighbors. One by one the warring city states fell to the expansion of the Kingdom of Kanza. Ruled by the Acton Dynasty they traced their line back to founders from before the calamity. In the year 2551, the official Founding date of the Unified Kingdom was established, choosing the founding of the settlement of Kanza by Joseph Acton in 2062. The Actons have ruled without break and have slowly increased the holdings and power of their nation. They have just as slowly repaired much of the damage done to their holdings. With very productive farms and improved infrastructure the Kingdom began to rise from dust of the Plains.

That is an awful lot of land there, keep it to the size of Kansas with a little extra bit of land. There is a bit of Oklahoma that was occupied, though not on the map quite yet so keep that in mind. Looks good otherwise.
