I don't think whole states are okay.
Because sometimes even national leaders just want to hang out

Sorta. Its a nation in the Lore, but nobody runs them. Its the Holy Columbian Confederation, pre-made but if you want to run them you can, I'll put up a modified application for people who do want to run one.

Trotza wrote:NS Nation Name: Trotza
Country Name: Iowa
Religion: American Catholic
Rulers Name and Title: Willy Holtz, King of Iowa
Flag/logos of nation:
History of your country: Much of the history of the land before the kingdom has been lost. One distinction it has from other realms around it is the relative political and religious stability that has graced it in recent years. Tensions with other northern nations and domestic heretics are still present, but they feel fairly confident in their position and hold over it. In fact this period of steady growth has helped encourage those advocating for a push outwards in search of influence. The current king more and more is becoming part of this varied crowd, his personal favorite being the prospect of going on crusades with the full support of the Papacy and other catholic leaders. Don't be mistaken, there is potential hiding in these farm fields...
Population: roughly 465,000
Army Size and Equipment: 4,000 in the King's personal army (3,500 foot soldiers armed with either crossbows or halberds and 500 noble cavalry)
1,000 hired merchant mercenaries (medium armed and armored river marines who often travel by boat)
about 10,000 levees and peasant militia (lightly trained and equipped in times of need, everything from pikes to slings)
Economic Overview: Most of the production within the kingdom of Iowa is agricultural, and it is also the occupation of most of the populace, who form a large peasant class. While the development of urban centers playing host to artisans and merchants is in its earlier stages, the growth of small cities and large towns is very important to the prospects of their economy in the future. The church also plays a large role in the life of the lower classes, including the collection of religious taxes from the faithful, as Iowa is the catholic stronghold of the upper Midwest.
Territory of country: The ugly ass shade of green lookin thing in Iowa on the map I posted earlier.
