It's the warhead that's magically enhanced, turns those who're killed by it into more undead.

Someone could actually fairly easily modified their tank gun to fire rockets, and use a HEAT Rocket in lue of a conventional kinetic penetrator.


But also- Early WW2 tech.

We're talking T-26, t-28 type tanks. Nothing close to the IS series which was basically late war.

And, The KV was unkillable early war. It's actually what spurred the Germans to adopted HV 75mm's in their Panzer III's and Panzer IV's.

Actually, they put low-velocity guns on the Panzer III Ausf. N, so they didn't even have HV.
