I noticed a lack of a desert nation, and the far north (if we're presuming that's the north up top) isn't usually a desert place (but this is a magical world so logic can be side stepped), which leaves the question as to where would the deserts be located (and if not otherwise stated I might just say magic happened and stick a desert in the far north).

Now that I think about it, what about having a fire dragon up there that is in constant suto combat with the ice dragon that sorta sits there on said island/continent and therefore turned the whole place into a very hot climated area.
