Intermountain States wrote:Nation Name: Great Andeok State (or the Kingdom of Andeok)
Flag/Emblem/Symbol: Flag, Symbol
Government Type: Constitutional Monarchy
Ideology: Primarily nationalism
Leader Name: King Yejong of Andeok, Chancellor Yi Jun Min
Political Party(s): National Party (liberalism, pro-trade, pro-business) People's Party (populism, agrarianism, pro-tariffs, corporatism)
Capital City Name: Hanyang
Map Claim: The dark red spots, black dot is the capital
Culture: Andeok is similar to Korean culture but slightly more cosmopolitan. The Andeok people are heavily nationalistic and see themselves as a civilized race for centuries and only warmed up to humility when the majority of them saw how behind they are in technology in recent times. Andeok culture is traditionally built on hierarchy and obedience to the state until foreign influence (mainly from Albion and the Winter Empire) brought a new generation of liberal minded ideas to the culture.
Races: Human
Technology: Although Andeok experienced a growth in scientific achievements in the early and middle years of its dynasty, technological growth was largely stagnated under a more isolationist government during the Imjong Troubles. That all changed during the Taejong Reform under King Taejong who pushed for aggressive military reforms to improve upon the nation's defenses, from buying weapons from Albion and the Winter Empire to producing its own weapons in the later years. While they show impressive numbers of tanks and vehicles and ships, they severly neglected their air fleet and what planes they have are incorporated into the Navy.
History: The Kingdom of Andeok could trace its history as being the successor dynasty to the Kingdom of Joongmi (which is also the successor to the Daesan Empire, an ancient empire in the continent) and was formed centuries ago when its first King, Taejo Choi Geun, deposed King Kim Il Jun of Joongmi and declared a new dynasty in place of the old. The Kingdom of Andeok started off as a regional power, expanding some of its territories to border Parcia and the Albion kingdom. Later Andeok, however, suffered a period of decline in Andeok's prestige and with the coming of Albion and a more resurgent Parcia, Andeok fell into isolation and protectionism with a purge initiated by King Sunghaegun that attempted to purge mages, merchants, and landed gentry, paranoid that these groups will bring an end to Andeok. King Sunghaegun was overthrown by the general court and the new king Taejong ascended the throne. King Taejong saw how behind Andeok was and attempted aggressive reforms, modernizing the military, bringing industrialization, introducing universal male suffrage, and loosening trade barriers. Taejong died 30 years into his reign but brought forward many reforms that improved upon the lives of the common Andeok people. His successor, Yejong, oversaw a period of conflict between liberal and conservative factions and in an unprecedented move, allowed the Andeok military to take control of the government in an effort to bring peace. He appointed general Yi Jun Min as Chancellor (much to the chagrin of the General Court) and the military imprisoned or killed any opposition to Yejong's rule. However, Andeok returned to peace and the military regime liberalized its control and allowed opposition to return to government.
Military Doctrine/Strategies: Finnish military doctrine during the Winter War and the Continuation War
Military Branches: Royal Army, Royal Navy, Regional Levy Force
Military Strengths:
- Dedicated and modernized military.
- Professional soldiers are well trained and disciplined
- Weapons are relatively cheap to produce compared to other weapons and vehicles
Military Weaknesses:
- The number of magic based users are too few after a purge that killed many magic based users.
- Jack of all trade, master of none.
- Levy soldiers use second hand weapons and vehicles and are more prone to breakdowns despite being the first responders in every cities.
- Their aerial vehicles are too few to count as an air force.
Relations with other nations: Andeok maintains good relations with Albion while maintaining neutral yet not hostile relations with other countries in the continent (not so warm relations with the Vakarian Republic). Andeok is however, hostile to Orbis on ideological grounds (but makes no qualms about trading with Orbis).

Wow. Lucky me then.
Still gotta read the OOC.
Haven`t decided yet what to make.
Human Nazis
Dark Elf Nazis
Goblin Nazis
Or Undead nazis
They`re all tempting though Dark Elves are the least.
Well.
My faction are Undead Nazi's who use enslaved Drug Dependent Goblins as slave labor and for mine clearance.
And someone else is doing pseudeo Nazi Humans....

[*]Drop Pods: This could take various forms, but dropping a big clump of people where they're not wanted is the general idea here. Fire a giant artillery shell, get a strategic bomber, whatever. You could have the soldiers be horribly wounded on impact and have the drop pods loaded with a one-use magical enchantment to undo the damage, do the same thing except kill the occupants and turn them into hungry undead, or just stuff a million god damn goblins with revolvers/knives/grenades in a big bucket and let the minority of survivors do the crazed dirty work as they try to shoot and loot their way to freedom.
Also, hi Charmera
