Yggdroth society features thorough schools and universities, both in regular academics and for the more magical side, and is welcoming to other races in many occasions.

Demeanor: Welcoming to each other generally, but wary to other species/races, particularly Elves and Humans due to past treatment of their kind. They hold respect for their own race dearly, and despite the almost complete genocide they faced in the past, they have relatively positive relations with most races, albeit they still come across rocky patches.

Physical Abilities: Nothing special.
Magical Abilities: High inclination to magic, almost all naturally form some innate knowledge of magic even without teaching. This most typically manifests in a darker manner, such as the life drain ability, but can even manifest as full-fledged necromancy or conjuration, albeit only towards minor beings.

Drawback: Lower population. Seeing as they were almost all hunted down throughout the world a few hundred years ago, the so-called "demonspawn" Yggdroth have been nearly driven to extinction. Their numbers have since grown, but given their long lifespans, many are young and inexperienced.

Relations with other races: Towards humans and elves most prominently, they are rather tense. The genocide of almost all Yggdroth kind was due to their nature of being the mass offspring of an unholy ritual merging Elves and Demons, creating the first Yggdroth kind. Their numbers grew without arousing much suspicion until they became over a million strong. This lead to many of other races setting out to exterminate them all, fearing their "evil power". Eventually this drove over half of the Yggdroth to death before they properly organized together and put a stop to the massacre. Since then, Yggdroth numbers have replenished, but they are still seen by many with racist and prejudiced eyes.




Name of School: Aetherflux
Description of Capabilities: Manipulating dark arts into healing and strengthening of others, or in rarer cases, oneself, often at the expense of ones own health in greater extents.
Advantages and Disadvantages:

    Advantages:
  • Provides thorough healing in a way medicines cannot achieve quickly.
  • "Buffs" individuals with select aspects, such as heightened agility, strength, reaction time, etc.

    Disadvantages:
  • Can drain oneself of energy to point of immense fatigue or even death if used extensively
  • Seen by many as a magic of evil still, regardless of its benefits, giving a sort-of prejudice towards it and its users.

The Snow Elves will most likely genocide every Dwarve they can find, and it's likely that after that a puppet government will be established, the Snow Elves couldn't care less if they people ate or starved. Any revolt would be quelled with mercilessly. The main problem would be attrition, because i doubt the Orbis navy would just let us move food to our forces.

Also, Our capital city happens to be located on the coast. We would defend Nova Orbis to the last man.

We could always attack by land, negotiate with those nations on the continent for the right to move troops through their territory. It's unlikely you'd be able to mobilize your Airships and military fast enough to stop troops already marching through your lands.

The Nations around you would probably feel the economic pressure of Orbis, along with it's size and huge popluation and see it as a greater threat than the Snow Elves. Letting us have passage through they're lands would be a convenient way of weakening a powerful neighbor without directly entering the war.

Universal conscription should work for awhile.

Another thing missed in the app is population. Orbis should be somewhere in the hundreds of millions (over 200, haven't decided actual number) in terms of people. (more than them elvish nazis that's for sure)

Political Party(s): Druslav only really possesses one political party, the United Druslav Front. However, there are several "opposition" parties with minimal seats in Senate to maintain the semblance of democracy. They are as follows: The Separatist Movement of Eastern Ghuron, the Communist Party of Druslav, and the Party for Druslav Progress.

Capital City Name: Durassia

Map Claim: Since I don't have GIMP on my computer yet, can I please have the string of provinces between the Essuran Empire and the Albion's colony on that continent? Durassia is located in one of the central provinces.

Culture: Extremely nationalistic and loyal to the Imperator, Druslav's citizens follow his rule with almost fanatical devotion. Every individual accepts that they are a part of a machine that continually makes Druslav greater. Hardy and hard-working, each citizen is fairly communal and abrasive to those they view as foreigners. This includes any and all races other than humans. The propaganda purported by the government has led to a large-scale belief in militarization among the population, and the military is considered a venerated occupation. In the fringe provinces, near Essuran and the Albion colonies, the Drussians become slightly more hospitable, though generally distrustful of other races, they are genial until encouraged to be otherwise.

Races: Human. Xenophobic to the point of murder against other races.

Technology: Chief among Drussian innovative technologies is the massive Landship. The enormous landship stands over three humans high, and is powered by Elysiam. Its gun, if aimed correctly, is said to be able to kill an ancient Dragon with one shot. History: The remnants of an ancient kingdom, Drusslav was once a proud empire. It held dominion over much of its continent, and the ruling species was primarily elves. These elves exploited and enslaved the massive human population underneath them. Mainly used as front-line troops and peon workers for the Druss Empire, the humans were oppressed and considered second - even third - class citizens. This incredible oppression lasted for centuries, with the elves magical power growing as the degradation and demeaning of the humans only worsened. It was to the point where Druss humans were considered lower than even other species. It was through generations of planning and careful hiding did a change finally occur.

The First Revolution was led by one Jackson Dregovich. During a campaign to expand the Empire, a large contingent of humans were sent as a vanguard to the main army. A careful maneuver brought the vanguard out of the charge of the Druss' enemy, and led to the Elven overlords being decimated. This human vanguard then turned and marched directly on the capital of the Empire, a now-dead city known as Stovenhold. Burning the city to the ground and rampaging through the country, the human army, now known as the Great Revolutionary Army, started a genocidal regime against any non-human and magic user. This regime, The Purges, paved the way for Druss humans to inherit the empire.

Changing the name to the United States of Drusslav, and then to the National United States of Drusslav, the first Imperators set to work establishing Drusslav as a powerful nation. Utilizing the almost infinite stock of Elysiam at their fingertips, thanks to their previous Elven overlords, the Druss underwent massive industrialization. Surpassing several of their neighbors in technological output, they have been exporting their "last year's model" technologies in order to gain revenue. Now, they look hungrily towards the rest of the world to expand their iron claws. Drusslav has a population of approximately 175 million individuals.

Military Doctrine/Strategies: Druss military doctrine is designed around projection of force. Show the enemy the big guns first, and pound them into the earth, and then send in the infantry to root out what forces are left. This slow but deadly efficient method of warfare is best utilized in attrition warfare. Druss armies enjoy grinding enemies down through crawling battles. For this reason, the Druss are excellent at urban operations and combined arms maneuvers. Most infantry divisions will be supported by dozens of batteries of artillery and several large columns of landships. Defensively, the Druss utilize a dynamic trench-warfare system, continually shifting strongpoints and creating weak spots in their enemy's offense through withering bombardment and ground based advances. The Druss Navy utilizes heavy, slow airborne bombers to outrange many of the big guns of other nations' navies, and will prioritize infantry boarding once within striking distance. In the air, Drussnoughts will zero in and damage the opponent's capital ships before even considering moving into strike range, and then will shift backwards and repeat the procedure.

  • Doctrine usually constitutes high death rate if bogged down too long. A long campaign will require excellent logistical management from Higher Command back home.
  • A lack of fast-moving vehicles or maneuvers.

Relations with other nations: Slightly sympathetic with Orbis, though distrusts their governmental policies. Hostile towards the Winter Empire. Extremely hostile towards Essuran. Generally neutral or indifferent towards every other nation.
