Or someone could invade the small protectorate of another nation or something, kinda like ww1.

I will be testing rockets on the northern borders thank you very much. Who cares if that undeveloped backwater of a colony north of us is hit accidentally. Worst comes, we can always prepare the border defenses.

(I'm assuming underdeveloped because the British didn't particularly develop India and other colonies very well. Albion seems British to me. Also, an industrial superpower north would be pretty terrifying.)

1. No one else has space tech, so anything in space can't be invaded. The best hope of defeating a space empire would be to outlast their will to invade.
2. Space tech allows you to effectively drop in anywhere on Terrana without the possibility of being intercepted or stopped. You could drop right into someones capital.
3. A space empire would have technology lightyears ahead of what people on Terrana are capable of.
4. A Space Empire would be able to expand to other planets.

And finally, this is a fantasy world war rp, not a space rp ultimately. Space stuff is a pandoras box I'd really, really rather not open even if it wasn't OP as shit.

The testing ranges happen to be close to the boarder. This was originally to keep them away from civilian centers (The rest of Orbis is densely populated, only border regions lack people). Of course there are also Ocean tests, but those don't exactly produce inspectable damage.

Well if one of those rockets happen to hit colony soil Albion will be rather miffed.

Hehehe. Well, rockets travel pretty fast (especially magically enhance ones, we have a few. The V2 went max of 5,760 km/h), so hopefully all most people will notice is a sudden rather large explosion. On the other hand, you could probably see the white smoke trails if the day is sunny.

They don't need to invade me. They just need to kill enough Nazis to make any further gains moot. Incredibly easy when your opponent's homefront has to carefully ration and conserve resources, and a single major defeat could spell the end of militaristic expansion for a generation.
2. Space tech allows you to effectively drop in anywhere on Terrana without the possibility of being intercepted or stopped. You could drop right into someones capital.

I could still be intercepted. I have to slow down somewhere.
3. A space empire would have technology lightyears ahead of what people on Terrana are capable of.

Oh please, it's not even an astronomical unit ahead.
4. A Space Empire would be able to expand to other planets.

Assuming there's a will or reason to. Asteroids and hydroponics are all you need!

And finally, this is a fantasy world war rp, not a space rp ultimately. Space stuff is a pandoras box I'd really, really rather not open even if it wasn't OP as shit.

Moon Nazis are fantasy world war as fuck. Just take a peak in the box. Go ahead, I won't tell.

The first suspect for mysterious explosions near the border is always the neighbor.

Moon Nazis are fantasy world war as fuck.

1. What would you need to ration? The troops would need to feed off the land unless they were getting food from the moon, which would be even more OP if you can just send down pods of food. Heck, you don't even need to send troops. Just pack ships full of explosives and send them to the capital.
2. How? No one has radar so no one can tell when you're coming, and by the time interceptors get up you'll have already hit the ground. Something that transports an entire army from the moon to Terrana isn't going to be easy to destroy with flak.
3. Yes it is. Our ability to get three men from the earth to the moon developed 21 years after the end of the war. Our ability to move an army to the moon has not even been developed yet.
4. You would still have more land that all of us, probably combined.

No. They're sci fi World War 2.
I'm not debating the coolness of the idea. It's just jarring and OP.

Damn, i wanted to fire the first shot -intense glare at Orbis-

What about all the unoccupied territory? Before we start, we should fill it up with NPC countries. Wouldn't hurt to have a few Orc and or Elf kingdoms, even small ones. Just a suggestion

Where are they from then? Like, if they're from another planet then the same problems persist. If they're from another solar system then again, it's just too OP. And once again, it's not what this rp is about.

Honestly, this is starting to annoy me a little.

Name: The Yggdroth
Appearance: Light to dark grey skinned elvish humanoids with horns atop their heads. Generally they look similar to this, albeit the males are much, much less bulky as opposed to the picture.

Lifespan: Average of 210 Years

Culture: Yggdroth culture holds the power of magic and the power of technology at the highest regard. They seek to preserve their race to the highest capacity possible, and to do that, they develop the most advanced defensive measures possible, be it magic, metal, or both. This is fueled by their mutual desire to protect themselves from being hunted down, and to ensure they thrive, yet not at the cost of others unless absolutely neccesary.

By nature, Yggdroth culture sees peace as the absolute for the world. They know what war brings, which nearly drove them to extinction, thus they wish to promote peace above all. Healing magic is some of the most prevalent in Yggdroth culture, a special kind adapted from their natural inclination to the darker side of magic, Aetherflux, yet made to serve a purer purpose. They typically do not revere any gods, seeing as they originate from a...darker source. Overall, instead of religion, they focus on scientific and arcane progress, making them some of the most advanced minds in the world when it comes to these fronts. Yggdroth society features thorough schools and universities, both in regular academics and for the more magical side, and is welcoming to other races in many occasions.

Demeanor: Welcoming to each other generally, but wary to other species/races, particularly Elves and Humans due to past treatment of their kind. They hold respect for their own race dearly, and despite the almost complete genocide they faced in the past, they have relatively positive relations with most races, albeit they still come across rocky patches.

Physical Abilities: Nothing special.
Magical Abilities: High inclination to magic, almost all naturally form some innate knowledge of magic even without teaching. This most typically manifests in a darker manner, such as the life drain ability, but can even manifest as full-fledged necromancy or conjuration, albeit only towards minor beings.

Drawback: Lower population. Seeing as they were almost all hunted down throughout the world a few hundred years ago, the so-called "demonspawn" Yggdroth have been nearly driven to extinction. Their numbers have since grown, but given their long lifespans, many are young and inexperienced.

Relations with other races: Towards humans and elves most prominently, they are rather tense. The genocide of almost all Yggdroth kind was due to their nature of being the mass offspring of an unholy ritual merging Elves and Demons, creating the first Yggdroth kind. Their numbers grew without arousing much suspicion until they became over a million strong. This lead to many of other races setting out to exterminate them all, fearing their "evil power". Eventually this drove over half of the Yggdroth to death before they properly organized together and put a stop to the massacre. Since then, Yggdroth numbers have replenished, but they are still seen by many with racist and prejudiced eyes.

Name of School: Aetherflux
Description of Capabilities: Manipulating dark arts into healing and strengthening of others, or in rarer cases, oneself, often at the expense of ones own health in greater extents.
Advantages and Disadvantages:

    Advantages:
  • Provides thorough healing in a way medicines cannot achieve quickly.
  • "Buffs" individuals with select aspects, such as heightened agility, strength, reaction time, etc.

    Disadvantages:
  • Can drain oneself of energy to point of immense fatigue or even death if used extensively
  • Seen by many as a magic of evil still, regardless of its benefits, giving a sort-of prejudice towards it and its users.
