That isn't our fault, and it shouldn't be our problem. You were gone for months, yes, and now you come back and expect us to drop what we're doing and get around to solving your issues? I don't think so. If you want a recap, fine, whatever, but don't be like 'Hey, you, find a way for me to join in so I'm not disrupting the entire plotline.' You have your share of the work that you need to do if you want to be a part of this roleplay, and I'm not seeing you doing any of that. Your posts are tiny and nearly incoherent because of the sheer amount of grammar and spelling errors in them(How, may I ask, do you fit so many errors into such infinitesimal posts? I don't know, you just do.), and you'd rather laze around and disrupt the story than do a little bit of work to figure out what's really going on. It's really not that difficult, but you don't seem to even be willing to do that much. So I'm going to have to elaborate a bit on what Luminesa said--

This is not a 'chill thread' where you can do whatever you want and get away with it. This is a thread where you have to put some work into the story, both in staying within the boundaries of the plot and in writing decent posts. Honestly, I could get over the shortness if it weren't for how abjectly awful the posts are when it comes to legibility. My point is, though, that you need to put work into this thread. And if that's not your style, if you can't do that, then you need to leave.

Hmm? What, was it really that bad? I thought it was rather tactful myself.

Then again, tact has never been my strong suit.

Charli that's what he's saying. Savage means to have called someone out on something they really didn't want to get called out on.

Still not as good as my version of that tho.

Oh, I see. A new contextual definition, this is interesting. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I was under the mistaken impression that I was being criticized for harshness.

Ok so how do you propose we go about joining? as far as my grammar, I haven't had a class on grammar since second or third grade and I suck at it...obviously. As for shortness it was just a conversation not much I can add there I can usually write more given something to do. I'm sorry that I didn't know this wasn't a chill thread. I thought that since HH was where we (at least when I was last here) went after major archs that we could just wait there until you got back. Apparently I was wrong and am sorry.

Okay. Stop giving excuses, please. We've all heard them before, and they don't change the situation. It's like running someone over in a car and saying "well I don't have my license yet." You still ran someone over.

Grammar: if you're using google chrome, maybe firefox, then you should be notified of grammatical errors. If not, then type your posts into google drive and/or microsoft word before posting. Also, preview your posts. There is literally a 'Preview' button right next to the 'Submit' button. my grammar in second/third grade was significantly better than yours is now. Hell, in kindergarten. So use a program or browser that will spellcheck for you, and preview your posts. It's not that difficult, and whether or not you haven't had a grammar class in an extensive period of time, unless you're illiterate, you should have picked it up as you went on, so it's obvious that you're putting a minute, two minutes tops into your posts.

Length: Bull. Absolute bull. Your character's emotions, body language, movements during the conversation, or thoughts on the conversation, should all be in there.

To be completely honest, this thread should have been closed to new players two OOC threads ago. I don't know why Sy left it open; it's just annoying for us and the people who attempt to join...

Sy... we haven't gotten a valuable new player since, oh, I'll be generous and say since the beginning of the second OOC.

If you had closed it, and if you close it now, it won't die... we just won't die of annoyance.

But if we close it we can't help anyone to become that awesome writer.

And anyway, you haven't posted for Raphael in a while. Shouldn't he be doing things?

Eh, to be honest, I'm waiting for the reboot.

And how are we supposed to help them become that 'awesome writer' when they can't become part of anything?

I haven't been barely literate since I was two and a half. Because that's when I learned to read. (I freaked out my best friend's mom by reading birthday cards--in cursive--when I turned three.)

I say keep it open, if that's aight, just maybe add a 'put in RP sample' in the app or maybe make someone write something if they don't have that.

And how are we supposed to help them become that 'awesome writer' when they can't become part of anything?

So why did you complain so much to Sky, then?

Exactly! So we should keep this open. You see? You proved my point.

No, I didn't. I proved my point that we should close this until the reboot because no body can do anything because of the arc.

I complained so much because that was before we were going to have a reboot and I wanted to post. Now I'm starting not to even want to do the reboot.

Sy... we haven't gotten a valuable new player since, oh, I'll be generous and say since the beginning of the second OOC.

If you had closed it, and if you close it now, it won't die... we just won't die of annoyance.

Remember back when we were all new, barely literate skrubs?

Remember when we just wanted to get better?

Remember when a few choice putzes talked down to us, and treated us like trash?

Let's try not to become the villains of our own stories, mm-kay?

Less metaphysical debate, more posting.

No, I don't remember when I was barely literate, because I've been able to read pretty well since I was, say, five? What I do remember is the shit posting I did because I wasn't used to typing.

I still want to get better. But why should I help some random kid out on the internet when no random other person helped me?

I do remember when those 'putzes' talked down to us, and to be honest, they had a point to do so. Besides, it was a competition and all they were doing was shit talking. High school kids and football fans do it all the time. You act as if they're Hitler or something, sheesh.

Free, just stop. You change your opinions at the drop of a hat. First you want to do the reboot, then you don't. First you want Sky to post, then you don't care. Then you say you'll post, now you're basically saying you're never gonna post again, since you don't even want a reboot now. It's not your decision anyway whether there's a reboot, it's not even your decision if this RP stays open or not.

Lumi, this is a post. It happens when it happens and there is time in between them. I do not change my opinions at the drop of a hat, I drop them after a day or two if I find them to be incorrect or not what I want as of that day. What happens is I do not post for a few days, then post once in awhile, and then again when the situation has changed.

I wanted Sky to post, and I would still like him to, but he does not wish to, so I will not pester him.

I never said I didn't want to do the reboot, you're putting words in my mouth.

I've had a mind to drop this RP entirely for more than four months now, but have stuck around because I like you people. Through some act of God...

And I am offering my opinion, Lumi, and clarifying it through discussion if need be there. I am not laying down the law, or any other such interpretation, because that's Sy's job.

I think a reboot is a good idea. Why? Because after this arc, this RP will quickly die because we've lost sight and are getting 'end of shonen' syndrome.

I think closing the RP as of this arc is a good idea because it saves us time so we can finish it and open the RP again, and it saves other people the time of trying and failing to get in.

I hope I didn't offend you by offering my opinion.

Just because someone is debating with you, Lumi, doesn't mean they're offending or upset. I am perfectly calm right now, though slightly worried about my ability to communicate since I apparently come off so hostile...
