Stripped of his weapons and tied to a mast for the night. Poor guy. Guess that's what having an insane cannibal side gets him.

You keep that dirty cannibal away from the mast, that's where the former captain is tied up...

Mark(s): 1st Mark; Thunderstruck: A rather cliche portrait of a thunderbolt, with it's other forms alongside it on her forearm. Gives the ability of full control of lightning. This includes your normal bolts, but also includes plasma, which lightning is made of. This applies to electricity as well, and can apply to lightning from the sky as well as from her body, from outlets, or anywhere else. If honed to a high enough degree, the possibility to disrupt or fry nervous systems becomes possible, as well as sensing presence through nervous signals, thought that's a way off.
2nd Mark; Don't Blink: A very well focused, open eye that seems to be 'seeing faster'. Located on the mid of her back, along the spine. Gives the already agile and nimble and Krystal a huge boost to both of those things, and is directly related to her first mark. The relationship between these can play off, DB is based off current body function, while TS can improve body function by acting as a supercharger. At a cost of minor (though building up if used too often) tissue damage, she can overload the effect TS has on muscles, causing a temporary, instant speed boost that will appear as a blur of light to most people, the name 'Don't Blink' comes from this. DB is also the reason Krystal is surprisingly good at fighting multiple opponents with evasion, as it increases the rate she processes sensory information when adrenaline is flowing and lightning coursing.
Weapon(s): She carries none, i would've put somesort of weird gloves that help conductivity and can deflect swords or bullets at right angles here, but oh well, she's not supposed to be getting hit at all, just dodging
Skills: Multi-Combat Specialist
Blitz/Ambush/Distraction/Sabotage/Shock (literally) based attacks.
Stealth, agilitity and speed requires one to be light of foot, as such she's very quiet when moving, making an excellent scout.
Charismatic, ontop of being a bit eccentric, she always seems to be an optimistic and confident note that keeps others going.
Cooking, sort of... more of a survival thing, use the right type of lightning and zap something. No need for a fire to cook.
Parkour/Evasion, if there's ever any need to run like hell and lose a tail, this is who you turn to.
Also, stealing shit.
Personality: A rather eccentric and silly girl, constantly optimistic and all around happy, always confident and a bit hot headed, ready to take on anything that needs taking on, even it involves running like the bolts she uses as weapons. A lighthearted soldier of potential comedic relief.
Likes: Food, anything dangerous and therefore fun, other extroverts, shy people, fighting. You can never get bored teasing shy people. Also music, mostly fast-paced rock that goes well with her imagining awesome fights.
Dislike: 'Doom and Gloom' types with seemingly no ambition or personality to them, the 'safe way', over-serious people (though sometimes fun to tease), books, eggheads that do nothing but read books.
Bio: Krystal was born in a moderately sized of the eastern ends of Penna, an upper middle class family with a small estate to support her, and the library of both living and written knowledge to look to when she needed help. Of course, being Krystal, fuck all of that shit. Reading is after all, an egghead activity, Krystal is no egghead. For the young girl, she was always exceedingly happy about everything, even the very worst of things that tore down entire nations into the bleak, icy grasp of despair's hand would be kicked aside with an unending ray of illumination from the odd girl. The ever happy optimist she was, Krystal was always a bit different as well, with an odd sense of humor that often confused people and made no sense, and a very 'all over the place' style suggesting some funky ADHD going on. Even more surprising despite her distaste for books, and 'eggheads', she exceeded average expectations in school, and particularly in athletics would always be seen trying to be the fastest, trying to be stronger then all the boys, and run circles around them before jumping into a tree and somersaulting out.
A hobby in her teenage years that went from circles and trees to streets and buildings, and schoolyard boys to upset shop owners and guards wanting to catch a nutcase who stole things purely for the fun of taking it, often leaving the item behind at some point before escaping. Krystal is no doubt addicted to adrenaline and danger, going faster, climbing higher, and lifting more and more seemingly ridiculous things just to push the limit of what would probably kill her in a psychotic contest to see what would give first. Her insane will, or her body's insistence it's not good enough to do it, always coming out ontop in the engagement. The city running parkour started at age 10, she first stole something when she was 12, and just before 13 her danger-seeking thrills got a much welcome boost.
Her first mark made itself apparent, the day her luck ran out and she got caught. Running through an alley and tripping on misaligned stone, she'd find herself grasped by the collar by an irate guard who'd been chasing her. Shrieking in fear, and flailing about more like an infant than the once ever confident girl she was, an innocent desperate grasp of the man's forearm turned into a violent lightning storm around his entire body, throwing him back into a building with a thunderous explosion of sound. It wouldn't be realized later by Krystal what had happened, at the time she ran as fast as she could out of the alley with tears down her face and hid the rest of the day. Hiding, though, would not be an option. Storms of lightning and explosion weren't exactly commonplace, and it would be investigated. The whole of the guard would have her face when she overheard it, yet all she could think was to run. Outrunning a small army was a bit... optimistic, even for her, though she had little other choice.
Here enters the second mark, having snuck her way to the gates of the town, she makes a run when it's opened for a caravan. She made her run, sprinting from the start at a pace that made her entire body numb, thoughts were suffocated by the pure adrenaline fueling this one and only chance to escape, when the same thunderous rawr she heard earlier erupted behind her. It may have been fear, she could've while it happened, that seemed to slow time down for her. Running past the first guard, who lunged for her but missed completely, the second who stumbled back before erupting sparks which cast themselves as if dangerous, the thrid trying to take her to the ground with a spear. It was like watching through someone else's eyes, jumping, flexing herself into an aerial, horizontal spin over the spear, and of the horses of the first car, stumbling back to avoid a sword, and without order, her arms projecting a stream of enraged plasma to kick her into the air, allowing the opportunity to redirect off the roof of the gate. She'd have to land on the edge of another cart and jump off it, an angle that nearly took her ankle, and close her arms to prevent snapping them when she landed. Still beyond her control, another person calling the shots for her, she ran off from their sight far faster than she'd started, almost a sudden blur of distance from them before continuing. She would spend the next several days, covering her marks, and playing a lost child looking for her parents, hitchhiking the caravans and getting free food. She'd be recognized, on occasion, but there was literal merchants could do to detain a frightened small girl that shot lightning from her hands. That didn't stop from trying, though, by the time she'd gotten to another town her kill tally had gone from 0, to 1, to 2, now to 9.
In her new 'home' she made place among the other thieves and degenerates, some claiming to be war criminals, or rebels against the crown, most looking insane enough to warrant such beliefs. Though, a few them actually seemed to be 'normal' enough to think they were making a difference to the government. These small band of 'freedom fighters' who spent their time vandalizing the homes of innocents, would teach her their 'ways' of fighting, basic and amateurish as they were. Though, they served as the starting point for her to teach herself as time went on. She would eventually learn how her marks functioned, and their relationship to one another, practicing them when she could a place away from thew towns to do so, and otherwise trying to control her second one while keep the first dormant. So long as she did, there'd be no risk of 'blur running' and making it all to obvious, she'd just appear to be a thief who was born with insanely good reflexes and speed, who eventually learned to handle herself against multiple thugs, assuming they weren't armed. Using her first mark in any but the rare, secluded incident was still forbidden, even if lightning is more than capable of killing in a single shot, perhaps dozens if it were spread enough, and even if you can evade and dodge well enough to handle several drunkards alone... no one can handle an army like that, of any size.
With her new knowledge of herself in place, and personal rules to guide it carefully, she was able to stop being afraid again. She knew what she was, she'd never changed, she was still Krystal, still the happy, confident, optimistic schoolgirl making fools of everyone. Now, well, it seems someone far above her paygrade decided they would lend some support in doing so. She'd continue, from city to city, living off whatever she stole before moving on, sometimes recognized as 'That Marked thief girl that shoots lightning' and sometimes only as 'That crazy arrogant bitch Krystal that steals all your shit and fucks up your cronies'. Not a life envisioned by many, though in the end, she'd be able to find herself enjoying such a life more and more, as would be expected of an adrenaline addict.

The lightning that comes from her body is much weaker than a lightning bolt from the clouds.
