Probably wouldn't have made that move the way I did if I knew there was a government there. Which I would've assuming you had applied at the start of the RP. We'll see what other people think about it.

Also. You need to flesh out your history. In New Vegas the Mormons were a trade city that had been sacked twice, how did they grow to become an interstate power within 20 or so years

The Washington Alliance came into being sometime in the year of 2169 with a small pop up settlement established below Seattles space needle becoming a hub for trade and soon for others to grow their roots and make a home. The men that got around to setting up what became The Wasington Alliance all met at Needle Saloon, local highlight at the time. Lucas Hamilton was a former merc who had settled and offered protection for room and board but the town always looked to him as a sheriff. Cal, he was quite good at managing reaources and people, as for Wes and David, they were natural born leaders and so with all of them talking about setting up a representive council that comprised of 2 members from each district. It evolved from their as the newly formed constitution made room for amending and voting. The armed forces was comprised of volunteer regulars and miltia and they were equipped with all the slavaged armenment found worth keeping. The surplus was then sold to the local gun store for a discount.

The militias are like the absolute bottom of the barrel, correct? Like they would only really be used in defense?

I did, It was my special forces and artillery he had a problem with and I lowered them down from 500 to 200. Unless he meant I was accepted when I dropped them 200 and I thought he would say I was accepted after I change it.

I've kind of already wrote in the RP that Seattle is a gang and ghoul infested shithole that was hit by nukes almost more than any city, and also my next chapter has me establishing a fortress on Waadah Island to overlook trade to Vancouver. Perhaps you can be in the suburbs of Seattle? Or should everything just get retconned?

Its just a small section of roads and courtyards walled off near and surrounding the base of the space needle, personally that how i wanted seattle to sound every but inside The Needles Wall. As a matter of fact perhaps after approval we can be of assitance in this effort as we could secure the surrounding areas and create a buffer zone were both parties keep trade routes safe from raiders and what not.

I don't' really know what to suggestion, just where to start, look at the map on this page to see where you would maybe like to start. Maybe start in Tennessee or Wyoming? I think I was accepted so the rest of Montana and half of North Dakota are taken.
