The settlement of New Haven was always inhabited and harassed by raiders. In 2165, Michael Bane discovered the remains of an old munitions factory. Of course, with no power, he could do nothing with it yet. He made it the base for a small force of militiamen, who would attempt to drive the raiders out of South Haven. Eventually they would, and unit the people of New Haven under the banner of the NHR, or New Haven Republic.

The people of New Haven expanded into the neighbouring countryside, establishing farms to sustain the growing population. Eventually, power was aquired and they were able to power the factory and begin creating weaponry, bullets etc. and formed an economy based off of the factory.

Following the nuclear devastation that was the "Great War", anti-Chinese sentiments were at an all time high. Americans turned on Americans, and harassed anyone who even remotely looked Chinese. Infiltrator units left behind in America saw an opportunity, and took in the harassed, and hated Chinese/Asian population, as well as any sympathizers in. They roamed for a great deal of time, attracting all sorts of attention, and attracting many new members. After years of traveling, people were tired of travelling. They needed a place to call their own. Stopping in Ohio, they marched into Cincinnati, and occupied it.

The occupation of Cincinnati was a difficult one, but one they had no other real option. First they had to deal with the local raiders, and opposition, then supply shortages. This proved to be a double edged sword. While the Chinese were suffering from supply shortages, so was everyone else. Desperate times called for desperate measures. Killing each other, and taking resources was not sustainable. So with death as the alternative, the disgruntled local population worked with their former enemies. An uneasy truce began between the Chinese, and locals.

After 23 years the situation in Cincinnati had improved significantly. Infrastructure had been rebuilt to sustainable levels, and people weren't killing each other nearly as much. A new generation of survivors had been birthed, and grown up. Distrust between the Chinese, and Americans had ended, and the acceptance of Ghouls was commonplace. A unified government had been established, and a neo-communist alignment had been established. Come the dawn of the 22nd century, on January first, 2100, the city of Cincinnati was renamed to New Prosperity, and the Red Star Federation had been birthed. New Prosperity, and the surrounding towns had unified under a single cause. The RSF helped establish neighboring powers in the area, bringing stability to the immediate region.

The RSF did not expand outside of the golden triangle (The territory between the three cities of New Prosperity, Louisville, and Lexington) for at least 20 years. After seeing the collapse in stability in it's neighbor's, they opted to expand, and save those caught up in the chaos. Red soldiers swarmed into the surrounding area, bringing them under the Red banner. With the shifting powers in the area, who knows what will happen in the coming months,

History Canon/non Canon?: After the bombs fell, Miami became a haven for raiders and pirates who made use of the city and the surrounding marshlands to wreak havoc upon those who sought to just have a normal life. That was until one pirate captain sought to change, he began radically changing the power structure of the city by absorbing and killing off different bands. Eventually that one captain was able to have enough power to secure Miami as his. He bathed in his power and success though eventually this led to corruption and what some viewed as detrimental ways of living. Rape, gluttony, and corruption become common. That was when a young up and comer with a band launched a successful coup against the old captain resulting in the initial formation of the Kingdom of the Golden Order with the young up comer, Francisco Ferdinand being the first king. His close supporters that helped him in the coup becoming the first knights. This new government was based in the idea that justice and fairness should rule throughout the land. Punishment was harsh for crimes, but all were given fair trials, Protection was given to those in need in exchange for their loyalty and tribute. In due time, the kingdom spread reaching out to new areas through conquest and diplomacy. For a time the kingdom evolved into a confederation of small states throughout southern and northern Florida with the Ferdinand dynasty being in power by consent. That was until the first civil war in 2189 with the confederation being torn apart by a power feud. In the course of the war, knights received many casualties and felt as though their purpose had been mutated into something else.

Come the end of the civil war in 2192, the Ferdinand Dynasty remained in power and commanded absolute power now rather than ruling by consent. Within the year, the Golden Knights rebelled and took control of the capital and forced the Monarchy to accept the creation of an autonomous Knights Council that had power to handle any dispute minus diplomatic or foreign affairs with any recognized state that was not a client state. They were no longer subject to the King's whim though in general the two entities political interests coincide. As a compromise in order to keep a balance of power maintained, the King was allowed to maintain a Royal Guard that was only allowed to guard Miami and a small contingent of them were allowed to travel with the king.

Since that time, the Kingdom has expanded slowly northward till in 2289, the Kingdom captured Atlanta. And now the kingdom has a decision to make. Should they expand Eastward to the coast, move north to the mountains, or move west?
