"Briggs we have to get some people, and get the fuck out of here!" He yelled over the gun fire.
He looked at Briggs.
"This thing is completely fucked."
Then he fired a few more round, and tossed him an magazine for his gun, but I knew we had to leave or we die
as the bullet shells went everywhere, and screams went louder.

Jenelle and her father had made it to Delta zone by the time the blast hit, and mostly just waited to see what would happen, hoping for the best; As the undead began overpowering the soldiers, Evander and Jenelle quickly ran back to the truck; Evander unlocked the doors and jumped in, re-locking them after he and Jenelle were in, then entered the keypad number and inserted his key into the ignition to make the truck start.

Cars were smashing into eachother trying to escape and quickly blocked the road, so Evander drove his truck through some of the undead and back towards the firing line, driving at a slowish speed so that any survivors could jump into the pickup bed before speeding out of Yonkers as fast as possible towards the town of Bedford.

Griggs ran off to find his squad, only to find Hamilton being chewed on by several infected. He was only able to find Rodriguez. he took him by his vest and pulled him with him. "Come on Rodriguez! We need to get out."

Soon both arrived to the humvees. Were Sam, Gabriella and the other guy with teh m16 were waiting. "Rodriguez, drive the truck, Sam you drive the humvee, I'll take the 50."

Rodriguez got inside the truck were in the back there was multiple weapons and ammo crates. Some soldiers and civilians got inside as well. Griggs got in the 50. and pulled the belt. "Lets go doc. NOW!"

He started the Humvee, and pulled out of the area as fast I could, and the whole area was filled with infected. He smashed into several infected assholes, and he turned on the
military radio, and it was chattering about "New York is lost"

Then it said "Military has pulled it resources towards DC, and Atlanta on the West coast Beverly Hills, and LA" Shit! I just kept driving until I felt like we got away far enough from people, and that chaos then he pulled over.

Then he said "Alright we have to make a plan can you help Briggs?" and he pulled open the glove department and pulled out a map, and got out, and got out, and unfolded on the hood of the Humvee and study it.

"Alright what are we going to do?" I ask looking at the map, and hoping that we could figure out what to do because both
are to far unless we are some how going to make a long ass travel

Then he then grabbed a radio, and radio "If any one is left from New York on the this military channel please respon this Army medic Sam Miller
we are located about twenty miles south east of the city on route 22"
He wanted to help some other people as well protect the ones with him now.

the main military has been deverted to Atlanta, and DC. Then after we got about twenty miles from the miles
away from the city, and away from people then he stopped.

He asked for Briggs to help him plan it, and he got out with a map , and called out on the radio. She was
in the Humvee, and I decided to get out.

She open the door, and slip out, and closed the door, and walked around the Humvee to where
Sam was.

"So what the battle plan?" she asked concernedly since she was viewing that everything as
if everything is completely fucked or not but at this moment it might as well be

said "I have no idea on what to do."

Then he looked at the map again as he was thinking on what way they would go Atlanta, DC or somewhere else all I know is we
have to get out of here as soon as possible.

D.C. So if we do go it could just be filled with those things that were back there, and then what?

let put it to a vote.

Which means we will have to find fuel eventually weather ciphering or finding a
fuel station somewhere as I waited everyone was getting ready to leave.
He turn on the Humvee radio, and said "Any one on this frequency we are heading
to west towards Chicago if any one can here me please respond

Sam did, and she realized the gauge was getting low in the fuel.

Then she turned on the car radio, and it was nothing but repeating messages

if any survivors were on the frequency even know it was slimmed.

I hit pushed on the gas peddle, and the Humvee started moving on the interstate, and they headed south a little
towards Philadelphia, and then they would swing west.

was on a stupid loop.
She turn it off, and I tried the radio again just see if any one would respond

They had a few hours before we reach the Philadelphia, and the gauge was
dropping, and I though shit, and we came to a small rest area. With abandon cars, and the place
was just empty.
"Alright we have to find some gas," I said.
"Gabriella stay in the car please," I said, and I got out, and whistle at the other
truck "We need gas."
"Search these cars!" As he started walking towards the cars.

Griggs took one of the cans they had on the humvee, it was empty. He took the whose and spouted from Sam to find gas. Griggs had his m9 in hand. Looking around the lobby, only to find corpses lying on the floor with their heads shot right in the forehead.

He kept on looking, room to room inside the rest area. He then found a dead police officer. He had a shotgun in his hands, a Mossberg 930 semi auto, he had blown his own brains out. Flies all around and the smell of blood was overwhelming.

Griggs bolstered his gun and took the shotgun and the ammo belt. "I'll be taking this buddy" he said. He then covered the dead officer with a sheet and exited the building.

He checked all the cars he could, pumping out the fuel. He eventually was able to get 3 cans filled.

She watch him walk over very closely like a hawk.
She pulled her hair back to straighten, and wiped her eyes from
her eye water from her tiredness since she didn't want nothing to happen to him.
She looked in the Humvee, and she found an orange flare gun with two big shots one was
loaded, and the other was separated, and she helped it in her hand to make her
feel safe, and she could possible help him.

"You see the scope, you aim and fire. You'll need to fire once at a time okay. Don't try full auto."

Sam walked over to a pair of cars, and he got closer, and he noticed that there was something in the car, and he got closer.
He realized that there was someone in there not moving.

He tapped on the window in afraid that it was either alive or infected, but nothing moved, and I quickly opened the door,
and the body fell out of the car. The body look dead so I kicked it, and it didn't move I noticed it had a hole in head, and
the blood was splattered on a window.

I was pretty sure that this person blew his brains out, and I looked in the car. I notice a small smith & Western was on the
side on the side of the chair.

Picked up the pistol, and check the gun, and it only had one shot in it, and it was fired so my belief this person blew
his brains out. I looked through the car, and found only a half bottle of Bourbon so I grabbed it, and I open the tank,
and I put a hose in it, and suck until the gas hit my mouth, and I spit it out.

Then I let the gas fill a plastic gas cans, and the taste in my mouth I might needed that jack as the gas was being pumped out.
Then he got the can, but it was only a few gallons. So I was going to the next car to check it out as I laid
my gun on the ground to check the tank.
He looked back and saw Briggs handing her a gun, and as the fuel as the can was filling up he carried the tank over to the Humvee,
and he open the cap, and poured the gasoline into the tank, and it was enough to get somewhere.
"Briggs did you find anything in that rest area alive?' he asked him looking as he put the gas can in the back.
