Her Majesty's Government won't give up Suez, so at least that's it. I will have to make my rule in Iraq much harsher, but it will be a thorny problem.

Also, just want to point out to whoever RPs as the USSR; with the Scandinavian Confederation being apart of NATO, and being anti-commie and anti-warsaw pact, your navy is going to struggle to send warships through their waters without consent, which'll strangle the USSR's armed navy; not only that, but they may do 'searches' of the ships to make sure no 'illegal substances' are travelling through their waters, effectively making it that much harder for the USSR to ship-by-sea weapons to allies and such.

Of course, the Confederation won't do this to an extent so as to spark war with the USSR, but it will be a major point of tension. Also, because of this and the fact the Confederation has existed since the Great Depression era, I think this means the Cuban Missile Crisis may have been prevented, considering the Confederation would never let nuclear weapons pass through their seas if the USSR was involved - though I'm unsure.

How would the Confederation's existence effect history in that respect? Also, does the Confederation's existence force the USSR to try and use their allies in the UPR-Korea to ship things by sea/navy? What happens because of this?

I think I didn't realize the repercussions for the Confederation's existence. Meh, I'll leave it up to the OP and Co-OP to address these points...

Not lose naval superiority, but y'know, considering the waters are unfriendly and depending on if the Confederation has restricted or banned USSR-borne travel through 'their' waters, and with NATO support and such as well as US or UK naval support, I feel as though the USSR might be forced to consider an alternative route for their naval stuff.

Except that owning Tallinn gives control over the Gulf of Finland to the USSR still, they still own the Gulf of Riga, and most of the Southern Baltic through Kaliningrad and Gdansk, so really you're just keeping them away from the Gulf of Bothnia.
And most of the Baltic is international waters, including most of the Gulf of Finland.

You're really not inhibiting them in any way, except potentially in the Øresund, which could easily be broken through, given Russian naval strength in the Baltic.

Understood. President Bernard Falk of the Confederation will probably attend the inauguration. After all, the Assembly can handle most things without him; plus, there are plenty of subordinates who can handle their duties on their own, for the most part.

Cuba remains under CSA influence, I don't think it would turn Commie. Mexico is the new Cuba so to speak, the USSR can store weapons on your territory sparking the Mexican Missile Crisis if you want. But we really need a USSR first before we do that. US-Mexico relations will be at its lowest point if that happens, might invade you again if push comes to shove.
