Character Class: Escape Artist
Mario's past as an escape artist allows him to use both tools and his athletic capabilities to escape almost every security system ever made. The tools he uses are usually palm-sized which allows him to sneak them into high security areas and corporate offices. He also makes use of his athletic prowess, which he got during his time in a acrobatic troupe, to slip into air ducts and walk across wires.

Relationship with Sunshine: The interview is from a Darknet interview Mario participated in during his third year as the infamous cat burglar called L'araignee'.
" Where do I begin with Sunshine? I first met her in 2065 in Los Angles, California. Back then I was considered one of Horizon's rising stars and was under the jurisdiction of what my agent called a " Tit-For-Tat Contract", which basically meant my agent and Horizon provided me gigs and in exchange I gave them 10% of my earnings. For a while things between me and my agent and by extension Horizon, was pretty swell and I didn't have any reason to think Horizon would drop me as a client. But then things took a sudden dip in a downward direction when on New Years Eve 2064 my agent called me and told me that he was planning on dropping me as a client and replacing me with some two-bit street performer. I was angry that night, I mean how dare that fat bastard drop me as a client! I made him and Horizon a lot of money and how do they repay me?! By dropping me as a client and replacing me with some shitty musician! Right when the clock struck midnight ushering in 2065, I came into contact with a fixer who hooked me up with some Shadowrunners who would help me get revenge on my agent. Don't ask why, but when the fixer's shadowrunners came in I immediately took an interest in the Decker. She introduced herself as Sunshine and throught the negotiation for the job see seemed the most level-headed of the group. I asked the shadowrunners to find dirt on my agent that was so shocking that even Horizon's army of spin doctors couldn't fix. Surprisingly, they found the dirt I was looking for and once it hit the news, my agent was ruined, not only did Horizon fire his fat ass, he sent to jail the next day. Another thing I Wasn't expecting the fact tha during the Shadowrunner's operation, I struck a friendship with Sunshine which would save my life one day.
For the next year, I kept in contact with Sunshine and helped her out with her Shadowrunning by providing her Fixer with potential clients. On the anniversary of me hiring the shadowrunners, someone tried to kill me by placing a bomb in my car. I would've been blown to smithereens, but luckily the bomb's timer went off early. I still have no idea who planted that bomb but I suspect that it was the Horizon corporation. They probably found out about my involvement in my agent's fall from grace and probably hired a hitman to kill me in retaliation. But at the time I wasn't thinking about that, I was too busy worrying about having my head blown off. I then decided to do something drastic, I decided to go off the grid and get rid of my SIN to avoid my assassins. I went to Sunshine and asked her to help get rid of my SIN and Sunshine agreed. She then took me to this whack-job back alley doctor who immediately agreed to burn of my SIN. After getting rid of my SIN Sunshine surprised me with 1,000 nuyen and a plane ticket to France. Before I left for the airport I remember het telling me that I owed her a favor and she would eventually come a knocking so I could repay it. It has been five years since I have last seen Sunshine but I know she is just waiting for the right moment to call me in to repay her favor.
Bio: Mario Gomez was born in Spain to a middle class family. His father, who was an employee for Saeder-Krupp, committed suicide a few days after Mario's birth after getting fired due to an mistake that caused the death of a fellow coworker. Growing up, Mario was often bullied for his thin frame and was called names like " Toothpick" and " Scarecrow". When Mario was thirteen, he got into a massive argument with his mother and ended up running away from home. Mario spent awhile roaming Spain until he finally wandered into Barcelona. After a few days roaming the city, Mario ran into an elf named Ricardo, who was an acrobat for a troupe of performers. Ricardo, feeling sorry for the young runaway, let him join his troupe and trained him as a acrobat. Mario then spent the next 10 years roaming Europe as a member of the troupe while training under Ricardo to become a master acrobat. When Mari was 24, he and his troupe ended in Los Angles, California to do a show there. During the show, Mario caught the attention of a elderly man name Bill Roberts, a former escape artist. After the show, Bill went up to Robert and offered him an apprenticeship. Mario took the offer and spent the next 2 years training under Bill.
After Mario's apprenticeship was over, he went out on his own and started preforming in venues across the city, wowing audiences with his combining of athletics and escapes from death traps. He eventually caught the attention of Ronnie Smith, a talent agent who worked for a subsidiary Horizon Corporation. Ronnie approached Mario with a contact he called "A Tit for Tat Contract", which gave Ronnie a chance to perform in gigs across California, in exchange for 10% of his earnings. Robert agreed to this contract and spent the next five years touring across California performing gigs and making Horizon a ton of money. On New Year's Eve 2064 Robert received new that caused him to snap, his agent had dropped him as a client in favor for some two-bit street musician named Donny Waters. Mario, wanting revenge for his agent's betrayal came into contact with a fixer and asked him to give him his best shadowrunners for a job which involved getting dirt on his former agent. When he meet the shadowrunners, he immediately took in interested in the Decker, an orc named Sunshine. Throughout the run, which involved infiltrating the agent's penthouse, Mario often checked in with the runners to see their progress and eventually struck up a friendship with Sunshine. Eventually, the runners found evidence that Mario's agent was embezzling money from his agency and Mario, seeing his chance for revenge, sold the evidence to the media, which resulted in Mario's agent being fired from the agency and subsequently arrested and thrown in jail.
Mario continued his friendship with Sunshine for a year after the run and helped her out by supplying her fixer with Mr. Johnsons in the entertainment Industry. One day however, when he was about to drive home from a meeting with a new agent, he was nearly blown by a bomb that was planted in his car. Realizing someone was out to get him, Mario decided to have his SIN burned and to flee the country To help in this endeavor, he went to Sunshine and asked her to help burn off his SIN. Sunshine agreed and took him to a back-alley doctor who burned off his SIN. After the procedure, Robert was surprised when Sunshine gave him 1,000 nuyen and a plane ticket to Paris, France. Before leaving however, Sunshine said that Mario owed her a favor and one day she expected him to pay it off. Mario then left California and traveled to Paris and used the nuyen to buy a little apartment. Robert, realizing that without his SIN he couldn't get a job, so he decided to use his athletics to become a burglar. Robert then spent the next four years as a cat burglar whom the French police called L'araignee, or The Spider. One day, on the fifth anniversary of him fleeing California, he received a unexpected message on his commlink. When he opened it, he was greeted by the grinning face of his old friend Sunshine who told Mario that she was calling the favor he owed her and to come down to Toronto. Before Mario could object, he was already given a plane ticket to Toronto and a couple hundred nuyen. Mario then reluctantly went to the airport and boarded the flight to Toronto. He is currently on his way to Toronto.
