Well, that's not quite true. She still wants to rescue him. She just doesn't think he wants to be rescued. (Because of that lovely little self-hatred thing she has, it's very easy for her to believe that the whole 'unfriending' thing was actually him.) And again, because of the self-hatred, she's quite willing to put what she thinks he wants before what she does. Thus leaving her with pretty much no reason to do anything, ever, since after he stopped her from committing suicide and promised to help her find a reason to live, well, that was all that was left in her life. Without it... she has nothing except her own emotions. And we all know what those have done to her.
