Not really, Theriam is more the stronger the inertia of a weapon, the stronger his defenses are. If he was to fight many Inquisitors he would not have any advantage really. Theraim gets an advantage against spellbreakers and other enchanters.

His ability is to absorb any inertia, as far as I know, you can still be thrown around by magic, it can be somewhat physical.

Well, basically his thigh and carotidal area around the neck. I asked at some point for the hands and legs, but you refused, so I just kept the leg and neck armor.
Later on, maybe I'll have him get leather wristguards.

And that's basically what I said, not all magic is physical.
For instance, if there was a poison type inquisitor, he wouldn't be able to do much about it, even if he could absorb it, it wouldn't do much for him when hitting back.
But an ice type inquisitor for instance would get absolutely trashed around by him.

The way I see it his powers give him a general advantage over most things except inquisitors, as it needs inertia and not all have it, for instance, in a fight and if he only used his magic, he'd get blasted by Mateo.
Though most beastlords would be at a severe disadvantage, given the nature of most.

All in all, he's a pretty situational fighter.
And since he needs to parry with his spear, or leg armor, it's a very odd situation to fight him.

Additionally this is out of subject, but I'm waiting for Maya to notice Mateo outside.
Maybe the energy around him would attract her to him?
