See here's the thing with drugs: you should never do them.

...so that when you go somewhere that it's legal, it's this totally new experience that you'll only be able to do once, since most don't have the bollocks to get caught up in the drug trade.

I have stories about being the druggy in my back yard. Though god was talking to me once. Turned out it was just the guy in the apartment above me telling me to stop smoking there, the smoke was coming in through his window. That was weird.

So John is just watching over Catherine as she takes in blood to rebuild her body. Which I don't see any reason for needed dialogue, however after reading Legion's last post I am a bit confused as to who Catherine is talking to and don't want to leave her hanging.
