Avaron is an only child in his family. His father married a non-magical human, and he just happened to be magical too. Being an only child with no cousins, he learned that he needed friends, and that's what he did. From the age 5 and up, he would spend half his day at a friends house, and although this may have caused several problems, he didn't care. He was a person who would socialize. He knew he was odd, and he knew he was too crazy for his own good, but he accepted it.

Years later, he was accepted into Mana Academy, and was placed in Venta. Surprise. His idea stuck with him, and he hasn't changed one bit. A guy to meet up with and just casually sip ice tea with, Avaron's the man.

Bio: Ray is from the Voltano family. A now very-diminished clan of American earth mages (of Spanish origin) with a line going back hundreds of years of infamous history. The Voltanos have a long record of going rogue and many have been hunted down across the ages, leading to the family's current poor state. Ray's parents were killed by the Inquisition when he was still a toddler on mere suspicions (allegedly) that they might turn evil. Ray's uncle raised and teached him basic magic knowledge and how the world worked until he came of age and sent to the Mana Academy.

When he was young, he and his Mom were both very surprised to find that despite his connection with nature, his element was not Earth, but water. They are still very perplexed as to why this was.
