After thinking about this, well, here's what I have to say.

I don't want to be a killjoy. I don't want to ruin people's fun. But I know that I, at least, did not sign up for this roleplay thinking that it would get into a regular WWIII. I doubt that any of us did. If that's what we'd been looking for, we probably would have found another roleplay. And I also know that such a thing would most likely take a very long time and probably wouldn't be very much fun for me or anyone else who isn't interested in that sort of thing, or even people who just don't have characters in noble houses.
Again, I don't want to ruin anyone's fun. I want you guys to be able to do what you want to do--but I also want to have fun with this roleplay and not be kept in a perpetual state of near-total apathy and resentment.
So here's my idea.
Why don't you guys make a spin-off roleplay of this one, about the war in particular? That way those who are interested can have that plot and enjoy it, and this thread can get back to its normal dynamic for those of us who don't want to participate in a WWIII plotline but also don't want to be stuck out of the loop and possibly even angry for months on end. If we do that, everyone can get what they want and have fun.

First of all, we don't have to do it now. It will be a WHILE before anything can be stable enough in this RP to actually hold a war scenario, and we want this to end in a win for everyone beside the Rise. Second, it would only take a month of IRL time, maybe a week or so of RP time. After all, it doesn't have to take an outrageously long time for a war to have a significant effect on a few countries, i.e. The Six-Day War between Israel and Egypt (and friends). Third, why would this cause you so much apathy and resentment that it would need a separate spinoff?

...
...I question why I even bothered.

I already said what the problem is. Realistic and serious wars bother me immensely. There's a reason I hate history class. (Actually, there are several reasons, but that's beside the point.) Yeah, I know, wow, the infamous Red Queen is bothered by war? Yes. Yes, she is. You questioning me on this makes me feel like you don't believe me, and while I know that's not your intention, it does actually hurt. Maybe I'm too good at playing the victim. Wouldn't surprise me; I've had a lot of experience. I just can't deal with that sort of plotline right now. Maybe not ever. I don't know. That's why I suggested the spin-off idea, so that you guys can do your war and I don't have to constantly worry about whether or not I'm going to have to abandon this RP for any amount of time. I like this roleplay and I like playing with you guys, and I don't want to have to leave, even for a month. But I have to take care of myself.

Oh no! Irhk has clearly been traumatized by discussions!
Lumi asked questions, I answered them. Simple as that.
Also, you totally spoiled my joke, dude. I was just about to post 'Wow, is everyone gone? Don't tell me finding out that I'm actually human scared you that much.'
Now that I look at it, it doesn't seem as funny as when it first came to mind. So I guess you did everyone a favor?

I have my fair share of traumas and weirdness, thank you.
But at least until the end of this year, let's save ourselves from such discussions, please?

It is quite annoying that there's a shit ton of patients waiting and all she does is wander around like a lost dog. Ugh.
Speaking of this theoretical war, Mercillia's the only one willing to mobilize while Aloysus prefers to intimidate the Rise into submission with Saturninus as captive (which we know won't work).

With Mercillia near him? I'd say he would intimidate half of the world just by saying "Do you want me to get out of her way?"

Actually, most nobles are more afraid of Aloysus once he starts to act. Sure, Mercillia's the blood knight of the family but he's been so quiet about matters that it is so unexpected and his intentions are always unknown to others like a puppeteer backstage.
